Remarks

Miranda House has the best structure among all the colleges of Delhi University. The campus is always neat and clean. The cafeteria is hygienic. Our college is surrounded by beautiful gardens. Washrooms are modern and hygienic. Our college architecture is like a heritage site.

Course Curriculum Overview

Delhi University provides the same course curriculum for all its colleges. However, the way teachers teach not only help you score good marks but also increase your knowledge. They will help you become a master of a good personality. Teachers are very frank. Their teaching is in the form of two-way interaction.

Placement Experience

The placement cell of our college organises annual internship fair in which top companies and organisations take part. The placement cell also provides an internship throughout the year for students. Students got an internship in companies like Embassy in Argentina, Wipro, HCL, Book Your PG and various other companies.

College Events

Campus crowd in our college is cultured and good. Everyone is warm and approaching here. There is no senior-junior rivalry.Miranda House has one the best campus in DU. It is the topmost college of Delhi University.

Actually the 3 discipline core subjects are truly important and relevance to my course. However the skill enchantment course and value addition course, even EVS taught this semester barely helps. That sometimes even felt like a burden. Still choosing the right GE, major is useful. I enjoy that... going through.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have a keen interest in theoretical subjects. Even in my school time, I liked theory subjects more than practical or numerical subjects. This is one of the reason I chose this specific course. Another reason is that I like reading non fictional novels. At the age of 15, I started reading novels but after diving into this course I'm liking the fictional novels too. I don't think this course needs to improve anything. It is in it's best form at the point.

MY COLLEGE - HEAVEN AND HELL

Placement Experience:

I think students become eligible for campus placements in 5th semester as now they are mature enough to be given such responsibility and to secure their future. I am not aware about the number of companies and offers. I am also not aware about the highest or lowest package offered but the average package for my college is ?6.5 lakhs per annum. The cgpa should be above 7.5 for better chances of getting placements. My plan is to get a good college placement in starting of the 5th semester.

I find thr course curriculum quite relevant. Geography is a very dynamic and practical subject and our course is designed that way to provide students a comprehensive knowledge of the course. We usually have two theory and one practical subject related to the course providing all the necessary learning and also preparing us for further research work.

I knew a senior already and asked her about the college she said teaching staff is good for which I can totally agree..there are a lot of assignments and stuff but at last it's helpful helps to gain exposure, knowledge and experience If you participate in all the activities which happend then it will be really good and helpful But the syllabus is very vast and with activities and assignment it gets stressful For the first year first sem it was very hectic as the exams were in really few gap but it was fine in second sem It is advised to try to study side by side atleast a little bit
