It is the best college in Mumbai, worldly acclaimed, and has the best opportunities for further career options. It also has international connections with abroad universities and better scope for students who want to continue their further studies abroad.
Course Curriculum Overview
Everyday is very well managed since the time college has become autonomous. All the courses are very well studied in detail and also the faculty is very good and very good in teaching. Students can give their own opinions on the syllabus and teaching of the faculty whenever they want because the principal is always there to speak to the students
Internships Opportunities
Opted for an internship in a pathology lab in Bhatia Hospital, Grant Road, Mumbai in the first year. There was no stipend.
Placement Experience
College doesn’t have campus placements for our course but it does for the Biotechnology course. For our course, we get college recommended internships and other recommendations for jobs, but most students go for further studies MSc and PhD before applying for a job.
College Events
The college holds a lot of intercollegiate events and also gets invites for almost all intercollegiate events. All the events that are hosted by the college are always on a very high scale and almost all of the top colleges and other colleges of Mumbai take part in them.
Fees and Financial Aid
The scholarship is only availed on a merit basis and other scholarships are also available once we get into the college like some sponsored by Japanese people. Loans are available for people in need of it and the fees are as minimal as possible and so almost everyone can afford to come into such a prestigious college. We have many students coming from not very well-off backgrounds.
Campus Life
There are two buildings, the new building has A/C classrooms and has 7 floors and the old building is where the canteen, library and all the labs and faculty rooms are present. There are two libraries in which one has all the books that we can issue everything from study books to novel and the other library has computers with web and seats where we can sit and study or read.
Hostel Facilities
Don’t have a hostel, but there are many hostels around the college. These colleges can be taken on by applying to them prior to admission if you are sure because the hostels full in very fast. If not hostels PG is always an alternative.
