Remarks

Jai hind college is one of the top colleges in Mumbai, situated in a great area, great crowd, amazing facilities and faculties, lots of extracurriculars. I opted for bsc purely out of passion for science.

Course Curriculum Overview

In bsc, academic strength is a little low in my opinion. According to me, the best faculty/ department in the college is life science. The faculties are very understanding, they guide us and support us.

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 9000 per year

Placement Experience

There is a placement cell in our college for all the departments. The placements in Bsc IT are very good. As far as i have heard, placements in the college are good. Students get placed in the desired positions in college.

College Events

The fests are way too many in the college. They are on all year round. There are different fests for each department. Bsc IT has their fest called Cyberstrike, BMM has their fest Detour, BMS has their fest Talaash etc.

Campus Life

Equipments in labs are really good. There are more than just one lab for every subject. The labs are large sized. The library is mind blowing, there are two big areas in lab. There are plenty of sports opportunities as well.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It's average or below average in term of real world experience curriculum there no such thing. Teaching is not bad there are big screen in class to teach from and blackboard. But most students don't know anything about the real world projects and techniques. Syllabus is controlled by mumbai University is too told and does not have any use in real world industries which need to be changed and most important since IT sector is something which advances and changes each year

Looks Good on Paper, Fails in Practice

Course Curriculum Overview:

I\n Chose this course in specific this college.Because first of all , it was afforrable as compared to others institutes.I can say that we weren't getting any experience which can prepare us for the real world experience like we were made to sit in workshops which was not at all connected to our curriculum.And then later on, when we said we don't want to attend it.We were given lame excuses like this will help you. And we will give you certificates for this.And later on , we were given nothing. Course needs a lot of improvement.I guess because they doesn't favor student feedbacks. The exam are typically in june and depends upon ycmou college dosent have any role to it and its not that difficult with basic knowledge you can score well.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I already mentioned library should have more updated books and classroom structure should be more updated. Faculty sir good enough for preparing us for real world applications through their simple learning method. Weekly and monthly practical exams are conducted by University for preparing of final examination.
