Remarks

Reputed college of a reputed university, also it is one of the best for sociology in our country which made me incline even more towards it. With it the Sociology is an upcoming field for many career options.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

Fully updated, all our teachers were very good. They made sure that we are being able to grasp concepts and learn to correlate them to the affairs of the world. They also encouraged debate and discussions.

Placement Experience

4.5

The college offers a placement cell for any and all courses through which many have been placed in good companies and organisations and are very happy also with the work and job profile that they are dealing with.

College Events

5

Being a part of a dance Society for 3 years i have seen that there is great emphasis that college puts on the extracurricular activities. And almost all College festivals are very well organised, and at a huge scale.

Placement Experience:

Sri Venkateswara College provides placements for Science and Commerce Students, not for BA Students. The college has a good record in the placement cell. I am an Arts student so I don't have any placement. So I choose UPSC as my career option. I will try until I succeed.

Placement cells do not provide placements to English graduates. Only a few companies came to hire English graduates. I'm planning to do a master's or B.Ed to secure a career in teaching after my graduation.

Our college has JEET placement Cell. JEET provides weekly updates on new internships. There are too many opportunities. However my course, Psychology doesn't have placement opportunities as such as Psychology is a complex field that has yet to be Specified in Masters.
