Remarks
The college is good. But the college management is sometimes adamant to their views. However, this is always not the case. Overall it is a friendly atmosphere.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is most of the time impractical with generally zero practice out of them. The college only thinks about the students who wants to score big. But they don't care about their mediocre students. As a result of it many students drop out or fail to complete their course.
Placement Experience
There are various companies that attend our placement cells. We have to submit our form to the placement cell and pay small amount to get submitted and we will get called if we meet the requirements of the company.
College Events
There is analytica, the maths dept. Fest. Also there are many events such bengali literia microbio events. Almost every department boasts off their very own events. The biggest among them is Xavotsav. Xavotsav is also regarded as the biggest fest in Kolkata.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees structure is pretty expensive. Also the college authority ups the fees without any notice. Since there is lack of unity among students and due to the majority of rich students in campus, most of the time these things go unprotested. However, there is transparency.

No, I didn't apply for scholarships since I am from a privileged family and I felt this scholarships should go to someone needy.
Campus Life
The campus life is pretty cool and friendly. The number of boys and girls are almost the same. The teachers and stuffs show no discrimination towards different religions or caste. However, it mush be added that inspite of being a heritage college, there are some people who are homophobic. The college politics is also in a smaller scale, with zero to no view. The students come from various economical background. The lab equipments are very good.
Hostel Facilities
No, I stayed in a PG near Dumdum Metro. The cost of hostel is too high therefore there are many who have problem in attending it. However, the hostel has pretty good facilities with AC, tv and comfortable rooms.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes they are helpful. They organize various fests and are friendly to the current students. They are good at heart.
Admission
I liked mathematics so I chose maths. The selection is based on numbers, merit list. 1st and 2nd list is announced. If selected, we have to go to college and submit relevant papers to get submitted. The college stuffs are friendly and helpful, so there's not much trouble in it.
Faculty
The faculty is good and friendly. Some teachers need to be understanding the students. There are many who teach mechanically and practice favouritism. But there are profesors who teach students with care and passion. They strictly follow the syllabus and guidelines.
