Placement cell is mostly looking for money. They are not focused about student's careers. Management can be improved there are lot of areas where they can do better. Provide more opportunities to students give them more exposure to the real world. Provide scholarship to students if they got any good opportunity by themselves.

I took WBJEE 3974,IITJEE - No rank,BITSAT - 210 My aim was to do Computer Science & Engineering. After not clearing IIT college didn't matter to me. I decided to study in a decent college and I joined college in Kolkata.

Course curriculum was average. It was outdated I think. Most of the things we learned was only limited to some extent. Colleges should tends towards online learning where best education can be provided to students.

My college didn't provide me any internship. It's upto students if they can find one only few students opt for internship.

Placements are decent. Not much company though only Infosys,Wipro in the first round. If student couldn't clear first round then they can opt for other companies like Tech Mahindra,Capgemini and few more.

Technical and Cultural fest are good. Lot of students participate in Robotics competition,Photography and many other. Each event lasts upto 3 days with good number of students from Kolkata.

It's feasible 70 - 80k for a year. If a student's parent salary is less than 2.5L then they can opt for Fee Wavier Scheme which is helpful for couple of students.

Yes college offer fee wavier if your percentage is good and local resident of Kolkata and family income is less than 2.5L.

Campus life was good mostly academics for me. Robotics group is there but it becomes active when there is technical fest around. Labs are good,computer labs,physics and chemistry labs are really good.

Few of my seniors are good. They helped me with course curriculum and notes mostly. Anytime I needed help related to my studies they were always there to help me.

We follow WBUT curriculum where its semester wise. In a semester there are two tests and then final semester exam. Before semester exam we have to appear for lab exam.

Faculty was amazing. This is the only thing I like about my college. There were few Ph.d in my faculty and rest were masters. So they have pretty good knowledge about CSE.
