Remarks

The reason why I chose Mithibai College was because of its reputation not only in Maharashtra but all over India. Mithibai college is considered to be the best college for all the streams including arts, science and commerce. The college provides a range of courses hence attracting a major folk to it, it also has merit-based admission criteria, therefore, the crowd here is favorable and also promotes a healthy competition among the students through various event, conferences etc.

I chose science stream with the combination chemistry, botany and zoology, as I always wanted to get into the pure science. the ratio of student and faculty is a healthy one. Even the staff and faculties are qualified with a good degree and immense knowledge and teach in a very friendly environment. The exams are conducted in a timely manner and the level of difficulty is medium.

Class Size: 200Course Fees: INR 8145 per year

Placement Experience

The semester 2 passed students are eligible to join the internship programmes making their knowledge more vivid and campus placement are permitted after the bachelor degree in any course given. There are many companies which visit the college and a huge no of offers provided to the students. The packages range from thousands to lakhs depending on the interview, CV and skill.

Fees and Financial Aid

The overall academic fees for any degree is favourable for even middle-class family to pay. Though I haven't given any scholarship test if one qualifies do sure get one.

Campus Life

There are many fests being conducted by the student body for the whole year. The most prestigious event is Kshitij, which is conducted in December month that includes various colleges to come and compete against each other. The library is luxurious having all kinds of books ranging from academic, entrances to novels. It facilitates large no of students to sit and study. The classrooms have ACs and comfortable seats allowing more than 200 students at a time. The sports day is conducted in December which encourages a lot of students to participate in various events. There are many societies including debate, NCC, NSS etc.

like i was sure that i want a course that will give me experince about AIML with subjects like 3D design + Coding + Envoirmental studeis and all. and the course from the sandip actually have all these subjects in a single course thats why i choose this course. curriculam was good it was updated on time. the course helps me to land a internship with goverment cause i learn the basics of AI from this course. the ares of improvements should be the faculty members like they are horrible sometimes they dont even make the notes for the subjects they ask students to make notes and shared with other students. even one of the faculty member shared a playlist form youtube for a specific subject and ask us to take notes from it and prepare for exam not a single leccture he takes at that time. the frequency of the exam is also not that good cause the want us to prepare for the final semster exam which is of 6 months in just 3 months with all the paper works , projects , assignments etc etc.

from second year only the start with internship fairs and in third year they do the job fair very few IT companies were there. i dont know the exact companies which came in the college but TCS and infosys average pacakge for BSC IT was 2-4 LPA placement rate around 40 % i will look for a job after my degree

Course Curriculum Overview:

Strong academic legacy with expereinced faculties and balanced content- preparing you for future studies and entrance exams and olympiads. very much strict, i would say not needed. somehwere you may experience baised behaviour; but when you are focused on gaining knowledge then these things dont matter as its only a matter of three years. Relevance of course is there but for applying for further studies not for that much for job prospects, if you want atleast a decent salary job.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very good. The syllabus of the course of relevant and also helps in preparing different entrance exams for masters. Also course offers wide variety of subjects so students can have exposure to different opportunities in the field. There are also field study visits so students can get their real world experience and exposure. The external exams are a little bit hectic as the take it into a streak. There is no gaps between the exams so it is a little hectic. Also some proffessors should provide study materials to students so it will be helpful .

Placement Experience:

I have rarely seen companies coming to our college for placement purposes for our course but I have seen companies coming for BCOM and BCA. I don't know about my course as I am currently in my second year. The percentage of students getting placements are veryess as my friend from third year said that out of 150 students only 10 students got placed this year which is very less compared to other colleges. My plans after getting the degree is if I got a job in any of the it company I will do it for experience and side by side I am planning to pursue my education in MSC CS

My honest opinion on my college

Course Curriculum Overview:

I thought that zoology is most interesting to learn and its have future job opportunity. So basically zoo student are like little dr or zoologist. It provides little bit of that syllabus while learning you feel like you are dr or expert in zoology which example we experience in our day to day life. They need to add more teachers and placement opportunity. After every one and half month there is exam.

Mithibai has great placement opportunity as there are big companies that comes for campus placement like KPMG, DELOITTE, JP MORGAN and EY. So it can give great start to students in corporate world. This is one of the reasons I chose mithibai over other colleges. Also there are so many clubs that I can be a part of to form connections, gather ideas and build leadership skills. I also applied to NMIMS, DU and I got admission there.
