The college is good and it is locted in centre of the pune. And it is A+ graded by the NAAC Society. The colloge is belong in top three of engineering college of pune. And well known university like savitribai phule pune university.

Course Curriculum Overview

The exam structure are decided by the savitribai phule pune university. From exam form to the result all are handled by university. The structure is simple there are total eight semester through out the course. and 40 sibjects.

Yes my college provide internship opportunity to all the students in starting of our 5 semester. Its upto you in what field or company you have to do an internship. from this year our college do compulsary internship for all student.

College Events

The events celebrate in our college are ASHWAMEDH and SHIVANJALI. This events are held in middle of the February. Generally it in between fro ten February to twenty february. In this events sports activities are done and extra curricular activities are also done.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees structure of our college is decided by the savitribai phule pune university. Genrally the fees for the engineering is about 1. 3 lakhs. And every year there are sime changes happen in the fees structure.

Fees and Financial Aid

The scholarship facility is available by the government in our college like EBC (echonomical backward class scholarship) and punjabrao hosteller scheme for hosteller student. There is education loan also available through the bank.

Campus Life

Yes our college organises extracurricular activities and sports events also. Our extracurricular activities name is ashwamedh and shivanjali. This events are held in middle of the February. The event organises at the college ground in front of our college.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes seniors are so helpful in any situation they help us. In college events they are so helpful. They guide us how to manage the event how to make event so amazing. in studies also they help for new students they guide the structure of exam and all.

Admission

I got admission CAP through. Through government merit list system. First of all you have to fill an online form then the merit list comes. there are total there merit list. and in that list if your number got selected then you will get admission.

Faculty

Our college faculty is good. All the profeesors are well qualified in there field and they are well understands the subject they have and teaches very good. All the profeesors are well qulified from the University.

placements start in 7th - 8th semester . Companies like wipro cisco and TCs etc visit. Average package is 4-5 LPA , and highest I could say 9 to 10 LPA .. my plans would be- if not got high paying job on campus I will try off campus too..

Placement Experience:

In my college students become eligible for campus placements from 7th semester and every year many companies come for hiring. Recently companies like TCS Accenture Cognizant Hitachi JSW Group Philips Axis Bank and some startups also visited so we get both IT and core chances. As per the latest data the highest package was around 24 LPA and the average stays around 6 to 6.5 LPA for most students and the lowest offers start from 3.5 LPA so it depends a lot on the role and company. Many students get placed but it mostly depends on skills performance and branch so it is not guaranteed for everyone. I feel the college gives decent chances but we also have to do our own preparation because competition is high. If I dont get placement from campus then I will try off campus also because there are many openings outside specially in IT. Overall placements are good for this level college and since companies keep coming for drives students who prepare properly usually get at least one offer.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. My experience of iiit pune

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements once they enter 3rd year of college. Some notable companies that visit the campus is nomura, walmart, amazon, nvidia and they take 5-6 candidates each while nomura takes 15-16 per year. The highest on campus is 43 lakhs while off campus is around 1.4cr. average package is 14-15 lpa mostly for swe roles. Percentage student getting placed is 50% oncampus and if we add off campus the number goes to 80%. I plan to work in the industry for 2-3 years and then try to go for masters.

Admission: I had also applied for top colleges of Pune with tech related branches but the main reason I can't get their is due to high cutoff of colleges I had applied for top colleges like VIT Pune,PCCOE Pune ,PICT Pune ,D.Y.Patil Pune etc and through cap process depending on my percentile I get my current college AISSMS IOIT Pune and I confirmed for these I sorted the colleges depending on some parameter like last year cutoff, placement percentage, autonomous or not etc My college is in Maharashtra so around 80% of seats given to the students who are admitted through Maharashtra state entrance exam for engineering that is MHTCET and remaining 20% are seat are for candidates who admitted through JEE MAIN score so most students peffered MHTCET Exam for admission in our college The overall addmission process is like after declaration of result student make list of colleges and branches those he want to take that list is in a sequential manner then student had to upload that list on portal of MHTCET after 2-3 day result of that list comes and the college which is allocated seen to us then it depend on us that we want to confirm that college and branch or go for next round total 3 rounds are take place in that process and after confirmation of college reporting has been done offline to the college for final addmission process...Read More

Reviewing the journey up till now !!

I gave several exams and cracked them , but due to some or the other factor , I couldn't choose any other college. Due the ongoing CBSE boards, I couldn't register for MHTCET which is apparently a state exam for MAHARASHTRA . You can opt for different colleges in MAHARASHTRA after giving this exam.
