Best DU college for Mathematical Science

PGDAV College is one of the good colleges of University of Delhi.

The examinations are conducted semester wise twice in a year. The course duration is of 6 semester, 2 semester per year. This course is best for those who wants to be graduated in Computer science with mathematics. After completion of this course college holds placement drives through which one can directly be placed in different MNCs.

The placement cell of PGDAV College organises different fairs where many MNCs and other reputed companies participate and select the students according to their knowledge and interest.

In the month of February and March, different cultural societies organise their fests, where different reputed alumnus and celebrities come and perform live among the students. Apart from fests, there is annual function celebration each year. Last year there was silver jubilee celebrations in the college.

Yes, College provide some fee concession to the needy and financial weak students. For this, the applicant have to provide income certificate of his/her family.

Campus Life is good. We really enjoyed the college life there. There is equality in gender. There are many sports and other cultural societies like Raga the singing society, Jalsa the dance society and many other. One can participate according to his/her interest.

No, the college does not provide hostel facilities. But if the students' residence is far, he/she might opt for PGs. There are many good PGs available nearby at affordable prices. Or if one wants he may rent personal rooms or flats.

Yes, the seniors either in the higher semesters or in the post graduation courses, they were really helpful.

Firstly I registered for DU admissions. I opted course Mathematical Science as it contains mathematics, computer science and statistics. So, this course is 3 in 1 course. After graduation we can pursue post graduation in any one of these according to the interest.

This college has the best faculty among DU colleges. All professors and staff members are supportive. They give their best to make the concepts clear to the students. All professors are PhDs in respective subjects. There are 4 lectures per day with practical labs.
