Remarks

Postive- in positive I say its good college study is good platform is good and its reputed and at some extent ia improving Negative- the process of improvement is too slow and faculties should be more concern with student helping oriented

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The architecture course is too tough and at some point it seems not even worth it because at the end we don't even get proper placements and the work we require to do is paid too less with not enough to fullfill our needs.

Placement Experience

1.5

There arw very less placements in our college for architecture and the scope for the job is very less student working really hard not get good platform and the salary offered is too less compare to the work the firm need from ous.

College Events

2

Aarohi-the cultural event Axis/device-the technical event Consortium-the entrepreneur event Institute gathering-the annual sports/cultural event Department gathering-the annual department cultural event

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fesible to some extent but the provision of the facilities are poor in some case the unnecessary construction is more entertained then the requirements of basic things for students the things done for student will is less then things done for college reputation.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship offered by college is on the basis of categories and the process of availing our scholarship is to hard because academic section of our college is way to bad in exicution of work due to the rude staffs.

Campus Life

3

We have inter nit tournaments which is a good platform but the resources and the area for the particular games and not provide and maintained the renovation of sports complex, basketball court and football field is required

Hostel Facilities

2.5

6. 5/10 because compare to other nits the hostels for seniors are poor and the place is too bad to live the hygiene is not maintained properly and the facilities like indoor games are bot maintained properly.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni help the college in various fields like donation but the money is not properly used as I said earlier the work is not done for student welfare the college reputation is top priority which should change.

Admission

I got admission in this college through JEE MAINS PAPER 2 in which I score 227/390 and I got VNIT nagpur in second round of my jee counciling. Vnit nagpur was my 8th preference but I freeze my choice because is listed low rank college above it.

Faculty

2

Faculty is to old and there state of mind towards the college working ia way too old because they are not introducing the latest technology attached to architecture and the softwares we should learn for our practice.

The reason i choose architecture because it fascinates me how a place can be developed into holistic place interests me . The curriculum has some good inputs but it doesn't make you industry ready extra efforts should be taken to learn advance softwares extra classes newer research etc discussion on advance technology becomes important in modern age how architecture is changing is not discussed

Course Curriculum Overview:

The frequency of exam is twice a semester and good enough. Guest lectures are good and helpful for the future preparation. There must be a change in teaching styles of the faculty and more site based experiments through the course for better understanding than only in class studies , the beauty of historical buldings made me wonder about this course

Placement Experience:

For architecure departments, usually there are no placements, but since this Institute is autonomous, they have startes conducting placements drive. Last year 10/12 students were placed in good firms all over banglore, pune, kolhapur. I plan on applying to different firms all over Maharashtra and would also hope to get placement via college since the packages that are offered are good. Placement percentage is anywhere between 12-15%. The highest package offered was around 5,40,000, average package for a architecture student would be-around 3lakhs.

Placement Experience:

There is no campus placement for architecture students. After completion of the degree, one can apply for jobs or opt for masters. Architects get an average starting salary of 20-25 thousand. The course is pretty expensive including college fees and printing prices. One can also open a private firm and earn enough money. There are very few open students getting placed. My plans after getting a degree are to apply for masters. For a teaching job, one must complete masters.
