My course is good and I'm pursuing graduation in Bsc botony honors. Zoology is the study of animals and i love to study animals Which result in joining the course. Exam are held semester wise after every six months.

Placement Experience

No my college doesn't provide any placement as my degree is only graduation degree. And i have to opt for either Msc Or B.ed I like B.ed as job opportunity is high because masters is only study and B.ed is job.

College Events

Zivastav which is diwali mela occurs in the month of diwali and it last till 1 day And annual fests it occurs in the month if February and last till 3 days no passes are provided so my outer DU friends are unabito come.

Hostel Facilities

There is no facility of hostel provided in our college as it is south campus. There are many pg available. I live in pg in a sharing room. The rent is 10000 a month including the meals, extra for electicity.

Admission

First CBSC 12 exam held, Result came out. I got admission in fourth merit list. Then i rush out to college and submit my documents then my admission is confirmed with the payment of my fee. Then I took admission and started class.

Faculty is well educated well qualified. Teacher provide answers of every doubts whenever you need them they are with you. Every teacher is great and helps you a lot in your academic and non academic sorts.

A college review full of pros and cons

Course Curriculum Overview:

The core subjects are very well divided, the main problem arises with the other additional subjects which requires efforts as same as the other subject even though they don't hold any importance as such. Maybe reducing other subject or making them practical based instead of theory based would be helpful.

Though i think maths is a great subject as it is what gives birth to every field but within course it self its all theory and pure maths i thing real application would be appreciated we do have practical for 1 subject each sem thats it should he more.

The Life of A DRC student

Placement Experience:

The placements of my college are moderate as the average package is ?6.5 lakhs and the highest package is around ?23.02 lakhs . Many prestigious companies like delloite, accenture have held various placement sessions in DRC and it's overall a good to place for companies to get high skilled students. The placement cell is very active too which makes it possible for our college to get many internships and placements opportunities.

i think it's very outdated and not of any practical use unless you go for research and scientific fields of science. it does not prepare much for the real world and current market but teaches about biology and chemistry which helps sometimes. the frequency if exam is fine.

Campus Life:

The Fest organised by this college is Priyadarshini and the annual fest Rajnigandha. The Fest are not great in comparison to other du college and are not that much celebrated. There are many different kinds books present in library like literature,Hindi, Chemistry, Maths, zoology, biology, botany, political science, History Geography the books are only alloted till 12pm and only for 15 days after that you will be charged if book is not returned Sports and Extracurricular are good but classrooms are not that great most projectors in classrooms don't work . There are many good societies in college like jamini the art society and others but joining has caused students to leave their classes which affects them academically

Placement Experience:

The placements cell Avenues regarding the placement offers coming to the college. Major companies of the job market come to the campus for recruitment like KPMG, deloitte, zepto, EY, ZS Associates and many more. The students from the final year itself gets eligible for placements. Around 30-40% students get the palcements through the placement drive. The highest package during the last palcement season was around 18 to 20LPA, while the average was 7 to 8LPA. I will certainly go for higher studies in operational research.

I did apply to almost every college in du..including the off campus nd i think everyone should apply to every colleges...in my first round i got Dayal singh morning college which is a south campus college...but i did heard that it's maybe nkt so safe nd is known for a lot of politics which i know most of the du colleges are but still i had 2 more rounds so i went for an upgrade and in the 2nd round i got gargi which was a girl's college which was my priority nd it was near my home..for my college you have to give CUET...Read More

Great place to earn knowledge!!

Hindu College was certainly the dream place and score too was enough to get admission there. However, my parents sent me to Delhi with a condition that I can apply only in Ladies college. Gari College has given endless memories!!

I obviously like every girl in India wanted LSR but 790 was the cut-off for LSR and for Gargi it was 772. I missed my mark by 6 numbers or percentile or else I would have been reviewing LSR currently.
