Indeed, it is a very good college to start a engineering carrier.

Entrance Preview

I appeared in WBJEE in 2007. My rank was 1363. This is one of the reputed college in Kolkata. That's why I have selected this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

College administration was very strict. The Faculties in our department was experienced and helpful. They taught us with their heartiest care. They have expertise in various research domain. Laboratory was well equipped and modernized. Excellent facilities are available.

Internships Opportunities

Students are encouraged to undergo internship in various IT companies.

Placement Experience

In my final year (2011), 85-90 % students are placed in various software and core companies. Mostly IT companies came for recruitment.

College Events

College festivals are awesome and excellent. Various famous singers and bands (national and international) came to our college to recreate students with full amusements.

Campus Life

Students are encouraged to perform many extracurricular activities. (robotics, debates etc. ) Every year Tech fest is held. Lots of gatherings happen.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I read in CSE(AIML) AI ML perspective and couse curriculam inluenced me to admit in college. Teachers often make real-world applications gor any pariculatr topic. I think more practical based an implement based curriculam should be added rather than more theorital subs. Most case college is form 9am -5 pm Like (9-5 job) .

Many companies visited our college such as TCS , IBM ,COGIZINANT, amd many more . The highest package is around 15 lpa and the average package is 4 - 5 lpa . The placement ratio is around 80 - 85 %

NIT DURGAPUR - A Detailed Breakdown

Placement Experience:

Students generally start getting their pre-placement offers from their 3rd year after completion of their internships other students gets their placement too in their final year. Starting from Apple to Google and Microsoft too hired some of our senior but the number of the students get placed in those tech giant companies is very less but there are mass recruiters too like TCS infosys PW chaitanya education TATA steel BHARAT petroleum and many other companies the offers are made based upon the eligibility of the students and the packages are decided based on the skillset and experience of the students . Highest package was 70 LPA this year and the average packages are also pretty good based upom the companies and their offers it ranges from 15-30 LPA .Almost 80-83% students gets placed but it depends on the branch of the students and their skillsets.I want to sit for GATE exam after completion of my BTech and want to persue MTech

Unveiling HITK

So, basically i gave all engineering exams and i got good marks in jee as well as in wbjee but waiting for jee councelling to get decent college of my choice unfortunately i did not got what i was expecting and thus throung my jee marks i got admission in hitk which is also a decent college. Talking about the application form u will find in wbjee websiteand its fees is 500 rs also application dates are available in the website itself .
