Entrance Preview

Admission based on merit. I scored 86% in my 12th class, and this college had the course of my choice and also many friends of my friends were keen on joining it.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum was good. it was the standardized course of Delhi University. The stress of the course was more on the application rather than theory. Practical subjects were my favorite. The course had versatile subjects which never ever let us to bore in college.

Internships Opportunities

Unfortunately at that time no companies came to offer internship. We managed it at our own. I had worked for a month in M/s Bhawani International, an export house as an office assistant at a stipend of Rs. 5500/-. It was a great learning experience for me and i used this money to fund my college tour to Manali, which was great and memorable.

Placement Experience

The placement opportunities in DU are good. Companies like Genpact, Aegis, Barclays, NDPL came for placements. Genpact has many rounds of interviews and offered 2.2 lacs as starting package. Barclay offer a decent package of 3.6 lacs pa. That was our first interview, and they did a lot of grilling and brainstorming to bring out the fear of interview from all candidates.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The free structure was very nominal , not costing more than 5,000/- for a year. The examination fees was also very nominal. Scholarship was available for students with weaker background.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, the top scorers in a particular course used to get 30k, 20k and 10 k as scholarship prize. Subsidised fees facility was there for students with economically weaker background.

Alumni/Alumna

The college every year organizes an alumni meet for all its students, its an overwhelming experience to meet old friends and teachers and share their experience of life in all these years.

Underrated College of DU!

Placement Experience:

Students from 3rd year onwards may sit for placements. There are several companies visiting our college for placements, such as Zomato, Tech Mahindra, EY, MagicPin, etc. My plans after getting the degree personally include pursuing a PG degree.

A Balanced College Experience with Supportive Faculty

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculam is well-structured and covers all the core subject relevant to the field . It help in building strong theroritcial knowledge but lacks enough real-world case studies and industry exposure . Exam are conducted regularly and are of moderate difficulty . Adding more project-based or skill oriented components would make the course more practical and beneficial for placements or higher studies .

When students enter 3rd year of their college , they are eligible to sit for placements but should have minimum 8 CGPA .A lot of companiess visit campus , details of companies are on the website of college.The highest placement till now is 20 Lakhs per Annum and average goes around 6-7 Lakhs per Annum. A decent percentage of students get placed. Honestly most students here are pursuing professional courses so they don't sit for placements instead continue with their courses .

Why DU has the best college life

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that great but decent. Mostly placements are good in the north campus but still my college provides decent placements. However one has to maintain their academic score for the same and be consistent.

I chose this college based on infrastructure as there wasn't much information available about this college online. Alsoz on the du official website, this college is mentioned as North campus which was a confusion for me at that time as I thought it was true but it wasn't as this is an off campus college of Delhi University. The admissions in the whole of University of Delhi is based on CUET scores. The preferences need to be filled by the students and then he/she is allotted the college according to the cit off and the scores. The subjects that need to be taken in cuet should be the same as in 12th boards. For humanities/arts courses the scores are out of 800. So, for arts courses the normal cit off for general category students are around 650, for obc students around 500 and for sc/st is much lower....Read More

MAC is magnificent!!

Same as CUET as all the colleges listed under DU has the same process. Its not that 12th percentage are ignored they too are calculated but ultimately the winner is CUET. Definitely MAC was not the first choice as it was the Hindu College but never mind MAC was good too....Read More

My personal experience of MAC

Earlier I got admission in Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar college university of Delhi but Then I got this one in second round of admission. And I choose this one because of it's fee structure that is less compared to others. And for the admission you have to appear in common university entrance test (CUET) conducted by NTA then you have to apply for the admission through Delhi University's counselling process which is common seat allocation system CSAS then according to your score and college preference you'll get your admission....Read More
