The campus is 300+acre which is quite big. Old academics is to replaced by the new academic building which is very good and spacious with modern equipments for studying. There is nothing such as negative remarks except for the student council.

The course structure is vast as you know Computer science and engineering is the most demanded course and it has a vast syllabus. Exams structure are quite good we have to give one mid sem exam and a end sem exam. Labs and lab faculty are good enough as they focus on best of each and every individual growth. Altogether it's a hectic schedule for the student who wants to study the course.

Placements are the best part of this institute as they provide various opportunities in this field as 180+ companies come to this college to provide placement. It also provides internship to good students. Companies like Goldman Sachs, Amazon, buyhatke, Adobe, UHG optum, etc as they provide 75k, 30k, 15k, 100k, 30k, etc stipend respectively.

URJA -is the sports fest of NIT JAMSHEDPUR. CULFEST- IS THE cultural fest of JSR which is regarded as the 3rd best in eastern region of our country. Last year Jubin Nautiyal, underground authority and Julia Bliss came to perform here. OJASS is the technomanagemt fest of this college and is the 2nd largest in eastern region of our country which provides lakhs of money for the winners position.

Fees of Nit Jamshedpur is low compared to most of the NITs and other engineering institutes and still they have scholarship program which makes it a feasible for students which are financially unstable. And they also provide fee remission for OBC students and general students.

Cummins scholarship provide by Tata group is the best scholarship which gives the total fees of this college and a laptop to every student who qualify their test and PI. Loan is provided by NIt Jamshedpur SBI branch which gives loan at 8.5% which is lesser as educational loan is 10% interest. And apart from that fee remission for students whose father's income is less than 5lpa is on tuition fees.

Gender ratio is 1:5. Students dorms are quite good enough for every interested students to participate and get a career in the field, workshops have been recently upgraded with newer machines and equipment. Cultural societies are quite active thouroughout the academic year.

It has the best hostel as compared with any IITs or NITs. Single room is provided to each and every students with balcony. The best thing about nit Jamshedpur is it their hostel and placements which you would love when you see it.
