About my college

It is good enough college. Being an off campus College hurts it alot as it seems a bit isolated. The building is good but don't get swayed by it. Also if you are confused between course and college, i'd say go with college given the course is of a similar field, but i could be biased in my thinking.

The curriculum is a mix of the curriculum of other courses like bcom, ca, cfa etc. And hence provides knowledge in different fields like economics, accounting, finance, management etc. There are a couple of subjects which are research related. The exams are a little different from the way another exams are conducted, in the sense, a bcom subject will have an option with every question in the exam,whereas in bms you'll get either 6 or 7 questions and have to pick any 5 to do from them. It's a little tougher than a bcom courde.

Since there are very few students in the college pursuing this course, the placements have to be along with other courses. As a result due to collateral image the placements aren't all good. There are placement drives and internship drives(social internships only) but they aren't too good. 6L pa is like the highest you can get from the college.

Every society organizes their own events, some of which are good, some aren't. The college fest is a almost non existent. Poor student union management has led to basically a possibility of mo college fest for a couple of years now.

Delhi university fees are mostly feasible. Dduc's fee structure is also more or less feasible. However it is more as compared to other courses around the university. It has increased over the three years, so that's another concerning variable.

I have not opted for any such scholarships. There are various loans and scholarships which are offered by the college however i do not have enough knowledge to comment about them. The admin office or any teacher can guide the student through such options.

The infrastructure of the college is really good, however there isn't a good enough ground available. The ground available is very small and hardly any sport can be played. However badminton and tt court is available and the labs are also well maintained.

Since the batch size is very small, senior interaction is very good and hence seniors are quite helpful. My seniors have been ver friendly and support alot in term of career or any other matter. Alumni meet is an annual event and can help those who are willing to interact.

There is an entrance test for the course i'm pursuing. The test score along with the board exam marks are added according to some criteria and a rank list is formed. On the basis of ranking the college is assorted to the student.

To be very honest some teachers are good and have a thorough knowledge about their subject, while some teachers could be better. Also since it is supposed to be a choice based course and should provide multiple subject options to choose from, due to lack of faculty in certain subjects this is simply not a reality.
