Remarks

The infrastructure of the College is brilliant and faculty are very friendly towards their students and they help the students during every extra curricular activities in the College. The only drawback is that our course starts at around 6:30 in the morning and the food we get inside the campus is of average taste and quality.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course structure is very good and it also facilitates for pursuing CA. Exams are very hectic and portions were also vast. The course provides you with all guidelines in the student website and helps you during your exams

Placement Experience

4.5

In College we were asked to do 2 types of internships, one in an NGO and the other in profit seeking organisation. The experience we get while doing our internships are really cool. The big 4 i.e, KMPG, EY, Delliote and Pwc, Goldman Sachs, etc are some companies. The stipend ranges from 5 - 9 lakhs per annum

College Events

4.5

Darpan, Blossoms, Inblooms are some of the names of the fest's our College conducts every year. Proathlon is a fest conducted to see the sporting abilities of each class. I participate regularly in all the fest's conducted by our College

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is actually flexible some of them who cannot pay the fees in one go can pay it in installments and can also avail scholarships if they come under any cast category set up by the government

Fees and Financial Aid

The College provides scholarships to students securing very good marks in their exams and also gives them attractive prizes if they secure distinction. Students can take educational loans if they want to the College approves this.

Campus Life

5

There are about 8 basketball courts, 4 volleyball courts and 2 cricket and football courts for the students. The university has its own team in each sport and competes against other Colleges all over India. As per my knowledge there is no ragging, or any student harassing due to their religion, creed or colour. The gender ratio is about 3:4 (boys:girls).

Hostel Facilities

3.5

I actually stay with my parents. I have seen the hostel rooms they are pretty big and only 2 share one room. The number of people staying in the hostels is around 300 - 350. They provide good food and service provided is also good. There is 24/7 security.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are the ones who welcome the juniors after the orientation programme. The seniors brief us about the College. They support us while we are going through a hard time. The Alumni network is very strong and they are contacted for very event in which their appearance is important

Admission

I had to do my CA so I choose this course. This course in this College provided support for students pursuing CA. I had to apply online and after that while submitting the application to the College there was an interview.

Faculty

4

Most of the faculty in our College have completed their PhD in their respective fields and they try to teach us with atmost care and help us understand each and every aspect. They support us in all the extra curricular activities.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 5th semester. Our college has a dedicated placement department that really guides and supports us through the whole process. Big companies like Deloitte and KPMG visit the campus every year, and since I’m doing B.Com + ACCA, there are plenty of great opportunities in finance and accounting. Last year, around 8 students from the B.Com batch got placed in finance roles. The average package was about ?6 LPA. The best part is that placements keep getting better every year, and the college has maintained a 100% placement record. They’ve even tied up with foreign companies, which opens up more global opportunities for us. After completing my degree, I plan to build a strong career in finance—hopefully starting with a reputed company like Deloitte or KPMG—and later explore opportunities abroad.

Placement Experience:

The college offers placement through the COC (Career Opportunities) cell. Students become eligible for placements by the 5th Semester. The companies which come to hire include the Big 4s, (KPMG, Delloite, EY and BCG), Fedral Bank,TCS, etc. Almost 70% of students opt for higher eduaction so the less number of students get placed at the UG level at least. I am personally figuring out which path to choose but I have placement in mind at the end of the degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My specific aspect of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose the course is the ACCA along with Bcom. Most importantly the 9 paper exemptions provided that gives flexibility in the context of studying. The curriculum is well corporate and real world oriented. They prepare us on how to face the real corporate world through their curriculum by conducting different seminars and workshops.
