Remarks

Everything is good, but if you are not from south then you might face a little bit language communication problem. Universally spoken language is English though.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

Everything is fair but students have to workout a lot for exams. Getting marks wasn't that easy but lab exams were quite easy. Internal tests conducted by college always determined that how a student is studying and they were helpful for students too to understand the weightage of their studies and preparation for semester exams.

Placement Experience

5

Placements were good enough, but to go through placements you must have a very good curricular life in college. Better grades will attract better company interview to you. I personally didn't attend any interviews.

College Events

5

Aatmatrisha was the annual fest of college. In that fest many artists used to come and perform. In my time I had attended 2 fests, in which I had enjoyed a lot. Apart from that there are many industrial tours conducted by college. In my time once we were taken to Infosys campus in Electronic City.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Moderate, but expensive if you don't get into the entrance exam's merit list. You need to appear for PESSAT exam conducted by the college itself, and get a rank in it for discounted course fees. Without a rank it can be very expensive. For BCA, there was no entrance exam though.

Fees and Financial Aid

No, I didn't avail for any education loan during my college days. I didn't need it. But you can avail for it very easily if you need to.

Campus Life

5

Campus life is very good. Extra curricular activities are plenty. All subjects have proper labs, college has big grounds for football and cricket, one huge basketball ground and many more. There are many competitive events held inbetween the departments.

Hostel Facilities

5

Yes, I was in hostel for the 1st year. Hostel rooms were very decent with attached bathrooms. Proper cleaning of rooms and bathrooms were also carried out periodically. Even hostel attendance was taken under very strict warden's vigilance.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors and alumni are very helpful to their juniors. Seniors always help out in projects, events, viva, quizzes and even in lab works.

Admission

I Choose BCA because I had a craze in computer programming. Java was my favourite programming language and I developed interest in HTML5 and CSS during my college days. I opted for BCA because I wanted to be a part of software company/industry. College placements were also very good.

Faculty

5

Faculties are very well trained and professionals. Education environment is very good and everything is available like proper labs, libraries, etc. Best part was while making projects at 5th and 6th sem, all the faculties who were assigned as guides for project groups were very helpful.

I mainly choose the course because I heard the college was top in Mangalore and it provide best teaching. Although some were correct and some not. The curriculum the college prepared is nice, but majority were outdated topics and idk it will help the students to get jobs in modern world with modern technologies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I had an internal in the technical field, and had previously persued computers in my school life. Teachers are very friendly, open to helping you even outside the college premises. But it depends, sometimes they are rude and follow strict disciplinary actions. Teachers are highly qualified with good enough knowledge. They try to be interactive sometimes. There are term exams everyone month or once in few months and is easy to pass
