Likes
- ABBS means Professionalism and therefore students have to follow the strict uniform code as assigned by our college.
- No entry without icard and it has to be around our collar whole we are in college.
- Cameras are everywhere and therefore no blind spot and this ensures complete security.
Dislikes
- Uniform colour is very poor as it looks like colour of postman uniform.
Course Curriculum Overview
IT foundation principles and software development is what we are taught. So basically it's more like engineering but in small form. So I always believed that we learn only by risking or by working and therefore I took BCA instead of engineering as I will get a degree in year less and will be working upon major things like software development in an IT company.
Internships Opportunities
Many companies like where junior level software developer are needed. We also have to enhance our skills and that can't happen in labs so college provided us intenrships where we could learn and develop and that too at a stipend of 10 thousand or so.
Placement Experience
Oracle, Genpact, Amazon and you can name any name which you know in technology and they were at ABBS. Junior software developer roles were the primary roles offered to BCA students and placements worth 4-6 lakhs were offered to us.
Fees and Financial Aid
Feest at ABBS is little higher to me as I finished my BCA this year and my total fees which I paid was around 3.5 lakhs. It was worth it though as I was happy that I got placed and my all cost was covered.
Campus Life
We have an infrastructure where we have around 5 buildings and 3 hostel blocks in the campus. Area is around 5 acres and lost in round it is. BMR auditorium is to die for anr the cricket ground and basketball court to have fun at.
Admission
I applied at various colleges but got rejected from some and also had admissions at some. However from the ones where I had confirm admission i think ABBS was the best and so I chose this college as it is a known commodity.
Faculty
Qualification is such that it still feels unreal that how can somebody study so much and have those illustrious degrees. Since most of them have published researches they pushed us for the same. They try their best upon us but we are little poor and therefore we are just doing catchup as otherwise faculties here are fabulous.
Night Life
I like water side and we have one such spot in Likardahalli Lake. Dr Rajendra Park and then obviously cafes as Bangalore and Cafes go hand in hand. College is closed by 6 pm as non hostel students can't stay after that.
