Academy of Technology: An overview

It would be very helpful for us students if the college setups more workshops and internship programs for students. Also I would hope that the teachers continue their hard work. And the college also does a great job in the training and placement department

The course curriculum is very rigorous. There are 8 semesters and each semester have 5-6 subjects and 3-4 practical papers. There are also internal tests and assignment submissions at regular intervals

The placements opportunities in our college are premium. Every student who is eligible definitely gets a job. There are students who get multiple job opportunities. Also there are internships and trainings organised by the college. Also the stipend is pretty decent

There are tech fests and cultural fests held by the college every year. Also there are loads of workshops held on current technology. Also loads of quizzes and seminars are setup for the benefit of students

The fee structure is quite feasible. AOT is one of the very few private colleges which provide quality education in affordable cost. There are also scholarship and loan available for students with not so stable financial backgrounds

The college offers Tution fee waiver to students with not so good financial background. And anyone with a meritorious background can apply for it. Also there are bank loans available for individual students and the college itself arranges for them

The college hosts annual sports meet. And there are separate teams for football, basketball volleyball. There are excellent coaches to train the students. There is also a gym. There are several clubs in the campus that work towards a holistic development of a student.

The hostel has several rooms with two persons staying in each room. There are toilets which are cleaned daily. The hostel superintendent is very helpful. The hostel has mess facility which provides quality food two times a day

AOT has a huge alumni network and the seniors are very helpful. The alumni are all working in big MNCs and are very recognisable figures in their respective fields. Also there are lot of students who opt for higher studies.

I took west Bengal joint entrance examination and secured a rank of 14000 and took admission in AOT since it is one of the most reputed colleges in Bengal. I choose computer sciences for its vast application and bright career options available

The facilities are really very helpful. They are knowledgeable and lend a helping hand towards students that need special attention. They conduct classes with great dedication. They not only focus on theoretical issues but give stress on problem solving. They also inspire us daily to achieve greatness
