Remarks

My college has very good infrastructure and and very good environment for students to develop their skills and nourish their talents. It is 5th ranked college of our country in engineering category. Apart from the academic pressure and peer pressure for studies I don't think there is any other negative remarks that can be made on our college

Course Curriculum Overview

5

so the acadamics in my college is very hectic and you have to cope up with the pressure because you are one of the brightest minds in the country and my course curriculum is very e good and it is the most demanded branch throughout the country and I will say throughout the world because computer science is nowadays the the pillar of everything. The lab classes are amazing and sometimes you will feel bored but it's ok. In the long run you will feel good about it because other colleges may not have those infrastructure that we have.

Placement Experience

4.5

The placement and job opportunities are state of the art. My college is one of the the best institutions in the country so there is no no lack of jobs or internship opportunities for students who are willing for those things and you just have to maintain decent academic performance and you can easily grab jobs in multinational companies.

College Events

5

So there are 2 main fests that are held in our college. the first one is Kshitij, Asia's largest techno management fest and springfest, one of the greatest social and cultural fest of IIT Kharagpur. so in Kshitij various teams from multiple colleges come into our college and they just take part in various competitions that are held by various societies from our college and there are a lot of prizes and it's like huge fun. first thing first I would say that it is one of the best thing I have ever experienced in my life and there are so many people and so many events that you can attend and enjoy your life for the three days that springfest goes on and you recommend anyone to enjoy spring fest at least once in your life as it is open to all for everyone.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure for the general candidates for undergraduate students is like 1. 3 lacs or around that per semester. for postgraduate students and PhD students I don't know about it because I am a fresher.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are huge number of scholarships that are offered by my college. These are for helping the economically poor students so that they can bear their expenses during their stay at college and also to help decrease the burden from their families for his educational expenses.

Campus Life

5

The gender ratio is very poor. It's like 8:1(boys: girls). So it is very hard for a boy to interact with a girl is there is huge competition in that. There are a lot of workshops held by multiple groups or societies. there is some politics involving to the student activities like general championship and illumination etc.

Hostel Facilities

4

so basically, hostel is compulsory for everyone and for first year and second year students the room is shared by 3 persons at a time from third year you can have your single rooms and the charge for hostel rooms are okayish.

Alumni/Alumna

the alumni network is the strongest of our college because every year a lot of alumni come to our college to visit and they give a lot of fundaes that one should know during his stay in college. seniors are also very friendly and they give advice about how to plan our college life and manage between academic and social life.

Admission

One has to give the jee main and after clearing jee advanced, based on merit list,he/she can get admission to this college. JEE Advanced is considered to be one of the toughest exams in the world. So so you have to prepare very well for at least two or three or more years so that you can solve the MCQ problems and various other types of problems that are asked in the examinations.

Faculty

3.5

So this may be a biased question because I would say something and some other person would say some another thinh because it depends on person to person how he thinks of a teacher or a professor. for me some professions are very good and they can make a student understand the topic in such a way that the student can never forget the basic concepts about the topic throughout this whole life where is some professors are really boring and they do not teach that well. but after all their professor so so I would recommend that one should listen to the lecture that he is giving because in the end you are gonna get benefited somehow even if it is boring.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Personally i opted for electrical and electronics instead of the branch of my choice is because my scores were not enough to secure a seat in CSE. But EEE is pretty cool as well for those willing to grow in this branch. Our curriculum exposes us to the rapidly growing sectors in the industry and educates us of all we need to know about the course in depth. If you want to continue ahead in a research field, this Institute is the most supportive. The exam questions are also relevant enough and considering we only need to actually stress over end semesters, its fair enough per semester. It would be better if our professors removed the attendance criteria rest im fine with everything else
