A day in the life of DSCE Student

The course is very good with the syllabus being very relevant to the current scenario.The exam is for 100 marks.Internals and externals are added to get the final gpa.There are 2 labs as well.We had internals monthly once.

Yes our college provides a lot of campus placements.Most of them are placed from the college.Internships are also offered to students.Paid Internship are given to students.Stipend ranges from 5000 to 15000 per month.

We have a lot of technical, cultural, management festivals are conducted in the college.Dayananda Sagar college of engineering is renowned in Bangalore for its fests.There are a lot of actors who are called for the fests.

Fees structure depends on the way students are admitted to the college.CET students pay Rs.80000 as the fee yearly.COMDEK Students pay around 2 lakhs as their fees There are a lot of scholarships available to reserve category students.

There are various scholarship available for reserved category students.There is SNQ quota for students from sc category and if their family income is very less.Also there is a government scholarship that gives students around 20000 each year.

There are a lot of extra curricular in the college.We have Centre for performing Arts in college.This takes care of all activities like fashion show, theatre, music, arts, dance, MCeeing.There is also sports club which has throwball cricket etc.

Hostel facility is available in the campus.They are offered separately to boys and girls.There are 2 kinds of hotels.NRI and Indian hostel.Nri hostel is a little expensive one and indian is cheap.Both these hostels give food to the students.

Our college has renowned alumni network.They are all in different places of the world.We often have alumni meet where present students interact and ask questions and doubts to the passed out alumni.

I wrote the Karnataka Common entrance Test after class 12.This exam consisted of MCQs.Based on marks ranks were given to the students.I opted aeronautical engineering as my interested course.There were 3 rounds of counseling.I finally got my preferred branch itself.

The faculty are all profesional and teach coursework with relevant real life experience.Most of them are doctorates and the others are M tech graduates.There are no bachelor's teachers.Everyone has experience.
