Remarks

Positive - Academics are good in our college. Teachers are also helpful. Multinational companies approach for placements, which is a very big plus point. Negative - Our college lacks in infrastructure. Labs are not upto the mark. Placement ratio is not too good.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Course Curriculum is outdated. It has not been updated since long. It includes all type of subjects instead of industry oriented. In each semester, exams are conducted three times. Two minors and one major (End semester). Out of two minors, best out of two marks are selected.

Placement Experience

3

Companies come for placement drive every year to hire 7th semester students. When they will get hired either they will complete their academics as per curriculum or start to work in company as a beginner to get trained. Placement rate of Computer Science branch and Information Technology branch is about 95%. For other branches it is less. And it is least for Biotechnology which is about 20-30%. We need to search for internship ourselves. College does not provide internship.

College Events

3

Annual event is there by name of Goonj. It is celebrated in month of February every year. College clubs also held their own events. Like Entrepreneur club help their annual event Udyami. Many clubs held thier individual events.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is around 50,000 per semester as tuition fee. Examination fee is around 2600 for one semester. Mess charges are around 3500 per month. It depends how much the person has bought from the mess. Hostel fees is about 1000 per month.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are no good scholarship facilities provide by our college to the college students. Any loan facility is also not provided by college to the college students. But economically weaker students are provide with fees concession.

Campus Life

2.5

Entire campus is wifi enabled. Quality of labs and classrooms is not that good. Many computers in Computer Science lab are in not working condition. Only some classrooms are installed with projectors, which should be must in today's world. Quality of food in mess is ok ok. Sometimes health crisis are there. Hostel rooms are too small for accommodation. It arises lot of difficulties for students.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network of our college is good. Seniors are also very helpful. They help the juniors at each and every point, when they are in need. We have an alumni club in our college which connects the college students to the alumni.

Admission

To get admission in the college, we need to clear JEE Mains as an entrance exam. Around 15 lakhs student every year appear for JEE Mains. Rank list is prepared based on marks. Students with good ranks got admission as per trade they choose like Computer Science, Mechanical and so on.

Faculty

3

Teachers are very well qualified and knowledgeable. But course curriculum is not too good as per today requirements. Course curriculum is outdated. Some teachers use book and some teaches using presentation on projector. Teaching quality is above average. Industry like exposure is not there. Course curriculum need to be updated.

Course Curriculum Overview:

For improvement in teaching methods, they can go digital, like using smartboards, or use more practical teaching methods, or maybe just improve the way of teaching simply. Teaching methods here really need upgrades, mostly students here have to rely on youtube when exams come near.

Placement Experience:

The placements have been lowered by 10-20% recently, but they are getting better. You will get a job if you manage cgpa above 7 and are decent with your skills, but then don't dream for 20lpa + jobs, you need to work upon yourself in silence to get 25-50 lpa packages and they do happen in our colleges, highest package in electrical 2024-25 was 52 lpa and in ece cse they had 61 lpa. Companies start coming in 3rd year for internships, only 10% manage to get intern in 3rd year, companies like microsoft, atlassian, flipkart, mercedes, jp morgan etc. they do come. Placement perecentage is like 75-80% in electrical and it is very low in civil (around 40-50%), in cse it is like 90% or even higher. My plan is to get an intern asap. (Maybe in 2nd year theough offcampus)
