Remarks
College management needs improvement. College is not bad but if you are getting a slight upper college than this then go for that. Otherwise decent college.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course is divided into six semesters with each semester of 6 months. At the end of each semester we have our exams of 75 marks each. 5 marks for attendance 10 practical and 10 for assignments. Below average placements opportunities.
Placement Experience
Below average, the batch size was around 400-450. And only 25-30 students got placed but with very low pay.
College Events
Commerce Fest, English Fest, Arts Fest, College Fest, Not very good but decent. Lacked management and chaos is the best adjective for the events held in college. Frequently speakers came and many seminars held especially for commerce students. Decent speakers came.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Very very cheap. It is a government college so it is supposed to be cheap and so is the case here. I think that everybody can afford to sit in this college. Canteen here is also too cheap and affordable. It accepted free online for each semester and you have to pay exam fee at the window physically.
Fees and Financial Aid
No scholarship opportunities. There was zero importance given to talented students and the growth of the students. No scope for any art over there and no scholarships.
Campus Life
Campus Life and crowd was the best part of this college. Very high standard students came and the crowd was one of the USPS of the college. Campus Life was great. Decent area to hang out with friends in canteen and outside of it.
Alumni/Alumna
Seniors were very helpful. The first day the came in introduced themselves. And helped a lot in settling down and getting used to college life.
Admission
I cleared the cut off which was around 95%. My name came in 3/4th cut off list. I first took admission here in BCom pass but in the next cut off, I was eligible for Hons BCom so I immediately transferred it. I chose BCom Hons because commerce is the best thing in recent times.
Faculty
We had four to five lectures every day. Lectures started at 8:30 or 9:30 with one hour of each lecture and our day ended at 12:30 or 1:30 accordingly. Teachers were not at all interested in making students understand things like school. They just came in took attendance, taught for 15-20 minutes and left. Life full Unjoy but no study.
