Siliguri institute of technology

When i came to siliguri institute of technology. I was very confused and nervous about the college. Then i made new friends and slowly slowly i adapted the environment here. It was totally new environment. The college has very nice infrastructure.

I chose computer science and engineering department in this college. This college follows the curriculum of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of technology (MAKAUT). and it is affiliated to MAKAUT. it is AICTE approved college.

Although i am only one year old here. But as far as i know the placement of this college is nice. All of our super seniors got placed in nice reputed companies with a healthy package. Many companies like McAfee, BYJUS, TCS, wipro etc come here and recruit students.

The college organises different events like cultural events, Technical events, Sports events at regular intervals. The college organises fest in the month of February in which different tech related and culture related programmes are held and many sports events are also held.

The fee structure is feasible. In west Bengal the fee of most of the private engineering college are feasible. The fee structure of siliguri institute of technology is very feasible.its about 4,05,000 in overall 4 years of Btech.

Yeah, if you choose this college you get a good opportunity, the college also give scholarships to the topper of different boards. No the college hasn't any loan facility. You have to opt a loan from any other bank.

Siliguri institute of technology is very nice at extra curricular activities like sports events.different indoor and outdoor games are held in different intervals. The labs in computer science and engineering department are well equipped. The teachers are well behaved and knowledgeful.

The seniors of the college are very helpful. At the very first day of my college the seniors of my department came to us and gave their introductions. They are very friendly and helpful. The college is totally ragging free. You can definitely choose this college.

I gave the west bengal joint entrance exam (WBJEE).i got 17800 rank. And got this college through counselling. I also heard from my relatives that this college is one of the best college in west bengal so i chose this college.

All the faculty of respective departments are very nice and they are very much helpful. Highly educated and with skills. All of the teachers are very helpful. Every 10 students are in they mentorship of one teacher.
