Remarks

Overall the college is about the best college among the engineering colleges in Pune. Good Training and placements. campus area is very big. Well educated and experienced Faculty. Many Extra curricular activities.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course Curriculum contains 6-7 sub per semester from which 1or2 are for only oral or practical.Exam structure For our batch is 50 marks for theory and 50 marks for online MCQ Exam.And also oral teamwork is there for each subject.

Placement Experience

The overall placement is good for the college and IT companies visit from 6th semester and core companies visits in 7th and 8th semester. One student has opportunity for one software and one core company.

College Events

Many Events are celebrated in the college such as technical Tedx talks and other events which help in social help. gathering and all sports events also kept at the college ground.Technical Events are taken during semester.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees for the OBC Category is 43896 Rs And for open it is around 77000 rs or above. the fees structure is good as compared to the other private colleges.It can be paid through DD Or online money Transfer.

Fees and Financial Aid

For the OBC Category there is the scholarship scheme called Post Matric Scholarship to OBC students. Also college offers the education loan facility and gives the fees structure for the loan application.

Campus Life

Extra curricular activities also taken alternately for different different classes such as visits to outside industries Labs, Abhiyans and also sports. also there are genesis and Supra labs for the competition.

Alumni/Alumna

As I have joined earlier I don't know about the alumni but the seniors always helps us and always solve our problems. All the seniors are also tell us to take part in the various events as it is important to make a good extra curricular record.

Admission

First I registered on DTE web for DSE Mechanical And then done verification at FC And then at ARC after this provisional and final Merit list displayed and then according to merit Percentage Criteria college is alloted.

Faculty

Well Educated And Experienced Teachers who always gives more attention towards the students and will solve their problems. If we didn't understand they always repeat the same many time till we understand it.

Placement Experience:

In my college students become eligible for campus placements from 7th semester and every year many companies come for hiring. Recently companies like TCS Accenture Cognizant Hitachi JSW Group Philips Axis Bank and some startups also visited so we get both IT and core chances. As per the latest data the highest package was around 24 LPA and the average stays around 6 to 6.5 LPA for most students and the lowest offers start from 3.5 LPA so it depends a lot on the role and company. Many students get placed but it mostly depends on skills performance and branch so it is not guaranteed for everyone. I feel the college gives decent chances but we also have to do our own preparation because competition is high. If I dont get placement from campus then I will try off campus also because there are many openings outside specially in IT. Overall placements are good for this level college and since companies keep coming for drives students who prepare properly usually get at least one offer.

Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. My experience of iiit pune

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements once they enter 3rd year of college. Some notable companies that visit the campus is nomura, walmart, amazon, nvidia and they take 5-6 candidates each while nomura takes 15-16 per year. The highest on campus is 43 lakhs while off campus is around 1.4cr. average package is 14-15 lpa mostly for swe roles. Percentage student getting placed is 50% oncampus and if we add off campus the number goes to 80%. I plan to work in the industry for 2-3 years and then try to go for masters.

I have taken admission by qualifying the cet exam by 93 pecentile . The college gives admission through cet exams. The admission process is through CAP round if ur score is above 93 for girls and for boys the cut off is around 94 percentile and reduces according to category. If ur alloted with the college u have to pay full fees alloted to your category if you dont have the required category documents you will have to pay the full fees at the time of admissions .
