Great college for making your college life more happening

This college has a amazing campus and faculties and that was the most important aspect to choose this college. They provide internships for additional career opportunities. Teaching methods are great but practical applications could be better. The college is affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune university so all the exams and difficulty level are average.

Civil students can get alot internships on multiple sites. So I completed my internship at a site called Silver Altair which was located in Ravet. Reference was given by college faculties. There was a fix stipend of 4,000 rs for a daily training of 4-5 hours.

College provide many internships opportunities so as to make students industry ready. Placements are great for Computer, Electrical or AI engineering students. However placements for mechanical and civil is not so great. Highest package for the college is 45 lpa which is offered by Google to a computer engineering student

The year wise fee i paid is around 2800 rs and i was a SC candidate. Also i used to get additional scholarship of 8000-9000 per year in 2 installments. So total fees i paid was around 12000 rs for 4 year programme. Open unreserved category students paid nearly 85000 per year but there were few schemes like EBS which can give back 50% of fees back.

Annual festivals included traditional days, dj night, dance competitions, etc. Also there is Ganpati visarjan festival which is huge crowd puller. Dhol and tasha make the crowd dance. There are alot sports competitions internally like cricket, kabaddi, badminton, basketball, etc. Also there are social clubs for students and students council that help students in every perspective or problems that they face related to college.

I applied to several colleges like Coep, Dypiemr and pccoe. But i choose dypiemr as my college because of parameters like college campus, placements and teaching faculties. However everything was perfect except the placement. There is some hope of improvement in terms of placements

Each subject had a unique teaching staff and all of them are quiet professional and have phD in resepctive subjects. Mithun sir who teaches structure related subjects is my favourite faculty. There are a total of 8 semesters with exams of insem, end sem and practicals in each semester. There is credits system that you need to achieve minimum to qualify for next year.

Admission process is generally direct selection through cap round which is conducted by state government. And hence cet score is mandatory. Overall the admission process is not that hectic and can be easily completed.

College is located in a very happening street of Akurdi. There are alot cafes where you can roam and get your favourite food. There are alot hangout spots like tea corner where you can roam with your friends and make your college life more happening. There are many gyms in the vicinity and gardens. There is dmart and everything nearby for daily needs.
