Remarks

Positive remarks about my college are that our college has many extracurricular activities and sports events that a student wants in his/her college Negative remarks about my college is the infrastructure of my college is not to good

Course Curriculum Overview

My opinion on the course curriculum is that it is not good for students that our conceptual knowledge. Our exam structure consists of a semester exam that consists of 30 marks. And then it consists of 25 marks of orals or 50 marks practicals and at last theory exam which is of 70 marks

Placement Experience

Placements and job opportunities in our college is good. Our college has good prime recruiters. Our college is trying for 100 % placement for students. This year many companies till now had come to our college and many students got placed in the companies. Our college also provide internships

College Events

1. Shivanjali: in this we have different conditions like dance , body building , drama , poetry 2. Ashvamedh: it is our sports event in which we have a competition of different sports like cricket, 5a side football, basketball, chess, table tennis

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure for our college from my point of view is a little bit expensive but nowadays every college has fee structure expensive our open category it is very expensive and for other category, it is affordable for middle-class families to take admission

Campus Life

Extracurricular activities, labs , sports in our college is excellent. In extracurricular activities we have baja /sae , gurudashwa , supra. We have all labs for performing our practicals and for performing practicals we have all apparatus for performing our experiments. For sports we have different competitions as college level sports , then university level sports and we also have an event for sport I.e. ashwamedh

Hostel Facilities

I had opted for hostel in first year of my degree and the hostel was 7 kms away from college and the infrastructure of the college was very bad it had no wifi and no mess. The food come from a contracted hotel and the food quality was not that good

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, they are very helpful. They guide us to how to prepare for exam and how to do our academics and extracurricular activities at the same time. They guide us on which subjects to take as electives in our final year that we will not face any problems during exams

Admission

I got admission in this college by appearing in the entrance exam (mhcet) after the results were announced a merit list was published. According to the merit list we had to attend counseling in which we had to choose college and the branch

Faculty

My opinion on the faculty of our college is that most of our faculty is well experienced and have good knowledge of the subjects they teach and some our faculties are inexperienced and have no manners to talk to someone and about their home city

placements start in 7th - 8th semester . Companies like wipro cisco and TCs etc visit. Average package is 4-5 LPA , and highest I could say 9 to 10 LPA .. my plans would be- if not got high paying job on campus I will try off campus too..

Placement Experience:

In my college students become eligible for campus placements from 7th semester and every year many companies come for hiring. Recently companies like TCS Accenture Cognizant Hitachi JSW Group Philips Axis Bank and some startups also visited so we get both IT and core chances. As per the latest data the highest package was around 24 LPA and the average stays around 6 to 6.5 LPA for most students and the lowest offers start from 3.5 LPA so it depends a lot on the role and company. Many students get placed but it mostly depends on skills performance and branch so it is not guaranteed for everyone. I feel the college gives decent chances but we also have to do our own preparation because competition is high. If I dont get placement from campus then I will try off campus also because there are many openings outside specially in IT. Overall placements are good for this level college and since companies keep coming for drives students who prepare properly usually get at least one offer.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. Practical v/s theoretical balance: Labs, workshops and real world projects are a core part of the structure, especially in engineering, design, and science programs. My experience of iiit pune

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements once they enter 3rd year of college. Some notable companies that visit the campus is nomura, walmart, amazon, nvidia and they take 5-6 candidates each while nomura takes 15-16 per year. The highest on campus is 43 lakhs while off campus is around 1.4cr. average package is 14-15 lpa mostly for swe roles. Percentage student getting placed is 50% oncampus and if we add off campus the number goes to 80%. I plan to work in the industry for 2-3 years and then try to go for masters.

Admission: I had also applied for top colleges of Pune with tech related branches but the main reason I can't get their is due to high cutoff of colleges I had applied for top colleges like VIT Pune,PCCOE Pune ,PICT Pune ,D.Y.Patil Pune etc and through cap process depending on my percentile I get my current college AISSMS IOIT Pune and I confirmed for these I sorted the colleges depending on some parameter like last year cutoff, placement percentage, autonomous or not etc My college is in Maharashtra so around 80% of seats given to the students who are admitted through Maharashtra state entrance exam for engineering that is MHTCET and remaining 20% are seat are for candidates who admitted through JEE MAIN score so most students peffered MHTCET Exam for admission in our college The overall addmission process is like after declaration of result student make list of colleges and branches those he want to take that list is in a sequential manner then student had to upload that list on portal of MHTCET after 2-3 day result of that list comes and the college which is allocated seen to us then it depend on us that we want to confirm that college and branch or go for next round total 3 rounds are take place in that process and after confirmation of college reporting has been done offline to the college for final addmission process...Read More

Reviewing the journey up till now !!

I gave several exams and cracked them , but due to some or the other factor , I couldn't choose any other college. Due the ongoing CBSE boards, I couldn't register for MHTCET which is apparently a state exam for MAHARASHTRA . You can opt for different colleges in MAHARASHTRA after giving this exam. I gave JEE and scored decent enough to fit the remaining 20% JEE based intakes in AISSMS COE. I am interested in the fiend I chose and look forward to explore myself within it....Read More
