Remarks

One can get proper education to build a great life in all aspects in this college. In this 21st century, this college still believes the 'Upanisad' method for students, and also tries to implement that, which I think helpful for a student in their future life. 'A greeny surroundings with a spiritual atmosphere' is line probably explains our college best.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Course Structure is one of the best in West Bengal and exam conduction quite fair and strict with very fast response for review/scrutiny. Being an autonomous body, our college was able to provide results within a month.

Placement Experience

2.5

In case of mathematics, it's not good for direct job placements. But students passed from here are always well established here and there. No internship program available. But various certificate courses and diploma courses are available throughout the year. Yes, there is a provision of scholarship for the needy students.

College Events

5

Every year is soo much cultural and educational eventful. Cultural functions in every Bengali occasions, Musical instrument competitions, annual sports competition in almost every game, drama competition, singing competition, dance competition, speech from famous individuals in every Saturday was a compulsory program, prize distribution ceremony, convocation ceremony, reunion ceremony, all Bengali pujas special celebration and what not.

Fee Structure And Facilities

I would say reasonable in case of mess and hostel charges, but college fees were little bit expensive, laboratory fees were also there even for the non-laboratory based subjects. Monthly Meal charge in hostel is cheap I would say assuming the market prices.

Fees and Financial Aid

This college gets a lot of donations from renowned personalities and established ex-students for providing scholarship to the needy brilliant students. Lot's of such scholarships are there. Besides, students also can avail government scholarships if eligible and applied.

Campus Life

3.5

There are five hostels in the campus. Each hostel has individual Table tennis room, carrom board, cricket and football kits. Besides, a big playground is there outside the college. Inside, there is a huge ground for volleyball playing with three volleyball courts. Lot's of computer labs are there for research purpose, class conducting, departmental purpose. And there is also a internet kiosk for students.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Hostel is compulsory for almost All Ramakrishna mission institutions. Hostel Life was way different than other institutions, totally bounded by strictly punctual lifestyle (otherwise punishment). Hostel Life totally focused on moral, ethical and spiritual development. Infrastructure is fantastic, facilities are a little bit backdated but good enough.

Alumni/Alumna

Since all the students have to stay under the same roof for years, a natural fair bonding grows up between seniors and juniors. Seniors are soo helpful that one will always feel homely with them. They helps in study and daily life both. The bonding is very strong and close. Alumni network is also pretty good. College sends every individuals an invitation letter for joining in the reunion program. The college has a different alumni association body for conducting all these.

Admission

I passed the minimum qualifying marks in the honours subject for appearing in the entrance test, then I got selected for the interview in the merit list based on the performance in the written entrance exam. Again, I got selected for the final admission after performing well in the interview.

Faculty

3.5

Teacher to student ratio is awesome in our college. Faculty is pretty good and punctual in case of syllabus covering. Teachers were well aware of every individual students and their respective abilities.
