Very good engineering College

No, there is no bad remarks about my college. Lots of good remarks are there about my college. Friends help each others to study very much.

It's a WBJEE based college, if anyone rank in Wbjee from 0 to 2500 surely will get this college. My rank was 1243. It's a wb government college and its ranking is three all over the west Bengal, so I choosed this college.

Here five depts are there in B.tech (EE,ME, ECE, IT, CSE ). Apart from this here M.Tech and MCA are there. Here lots of faculty members in all departments. But all faculty members are not so specific.

Lots of software companies - TCS, ATOS, CAPGIMINI, DDT, TECH MAHINDRA etc. And package average 3 lac per annum.Core companies- MN DOSTUR, MAHINDRA MAHINDRA, TEGA, HM, WBSEDCL, WBPDCL, L & T ect.

In out of 300 B.tech students 230 are paced from college in both software and core companies. Vast of the student s are placed in software company and less students are placed in core companies. The minimum package is 2.8 lac per annum and maximum package is 6 lac per annum. Two government companies(Wbsedcl, Pdcl) offer 6 lac per annum. And rest of core companies offer average 4 lac per annum and software companies are offered avg. 3 lac per annum.

Robotics is very interesting event in our college which organises in Tech fest and lots of gaming events are held in Tech fest. One day program named freshers held in our college to welcomes the first year student. And lots of cultural program like college fest, hallday in hostels( in each hostel) are held in our college.

Fees structures is very less as its a government engineering college. Admission fees is Rs 6000. And per semesters fees is avg. Rs 6000. The exam fees per semester is Rs 1000. The hotel expenses is very low. It's about Rs 1300 per month for full accommodation.

Yes one can get a students loan if their family income is low. It's near about Max Rs 1.5 lac including books and laptop because collges fees is very low.

Campus life is very enjoyable. Here various extracurricular activity is there like Robotics, Computer gaming ets and full laboratory setup in each depts. No of females is less compare to males. A running party is there so there is no competition in political party. Maximum no of student are Bengali.

The hostels are very good. There is no single room in hostel. All has to share with four students in first year and with 2 persons in rest of three years. First years hostels is separate from senior hostel and its vast no of seats are there and very renta

Senior to junnior relation is very good here. All seniors are invited in each year in hostel program almost 200 seniors are come to hostel in each year. They financially help the junior to run this type of programme.

There are lots of exam in our college like others engineering college. It's a semester based college under MAKAUT formerly known as wbut and Aicte approved college. Two class test per subject are held appart from final exam and lots of assignment in each
