They have too much of Boys girls separation. In fact, they appointed separate PDA guards to check in with this which I feel is pitiful. I also find difficulty in having such long walks to and fro college to the hostel
Course Curriculum Overview
In fact, I am quite dissatisfied. Lack of faculties and properly set up the curriculum. Exams comprise of written exams for theory, projects, and assignments for the portfolios, etc which are graded by a jury.
Placement Experience
VIT promises 100% placements. VIT has different platforms to attain internships and is very encouraging in this. But the fact that the whole institution follows a lot of formalities makes this complex phenomenon.
College Events
Events in vit are lit AF. Gravitas, the science fest, and Riviera, the college fest. Moreover, they have events daily all around the campus conducted by different clubs and chapters. This is something VIT is known for.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Well, the fee structure is quite expensive. Moreover, VIT is more expensive to live in. Hostel and mess are feasible. But tuition fees being provided according to the VITEEE ranks makes a huge range from 1.72L per year being minimum to around 5-6L per year
Fees and Financial Aid
Don't know much about this. But they do say they provide rate reduction for students who do well and face difficulty to continue here due to economic crisis or personal tragedies. Also, their fees structure depends on the VITEEE ranking
Campus Life
VIT ROCKS this. Separate clubs for each event. They are champions in an international circle. Every talent is encouraged here through clubs including dance music fine arts or anything one can possibly think of.
Alumni/Alumna
I don't know much about alumni but the seniors are awesome. This college follows ffcs and we need the senior's help in finding the better faculty and courses and slots. They get close pretty fast and has strong bonds with the juniors
Admission
I was ranked 441 for UCEED 2018. After being qualified I had to face this interview and drawing test by the college. The overall grading is compiled to make up a rank list of which I was ranked 2nd.
Faculty
Well satisfactory. 5 main design faculties of which one is too old and has naive constraints to judgments. Other faculties are quite good in fact. Other faculties of different schools of vit are assigned to teach their respective courses for designing. They being engineering professors face a tough time in understanding how their subjects are to teach for a designer and teaches in a way an engineer faces it.
