My review

Here lot of political parties are there. So there are some conflicts between them. So that college are suspended for some days. But they are also good. They help in problems faced by students and alert the authority about those and it results in fast action to solve the problems.

This is a nice course. Studying btech from Cusat is better than studying btech from KTU. Exams are conducted in time without any delay. There are 8 semesters for every branches. There are 7 branches in our college. in each year 2 semesters. In each semester 6 subjects and 2 labs.with 23 credits in each semester.

Placements takes place in every year. Many students got placed from our college. Good companies with good packages comes to our college and recruit students. Most of the companies are IT companies. Most of the students in CS ,IT and SFE gets placement.

There are lot of events conducted in our college. Techfest named dhshna is a famous one. It is also conducted every year.freshers day,arts fest,sports day are other interesting programs. Then hostel days are also celebrated every year. Cusat is always lit.

Free structure is feasible. There is not a big problem in fee structure. But ralating it with KTU it is somewhat high. Category students have very low fee. It is around 200 per semester. Fee for state merit is around 25000 and for all India merit it is around 40000 per semester

There are scholarships provided by govt and our college. Fees for catagory students like SC ST OEC are very low. They gets extra scholarships too. Student welfare association also provide scholarships to students. Since I am an OBC Muslim, I get scholarship called MOMA.

There are good lab facilities. Every labs are well equipped. If any problems arises that are solved very fastly. Sports also conducted in college. Lot of games are also encouraged. Students compete with other college students in spots and games and comes with winning colours

There is no enough university hostel for all students. But there are around 5 hostels for btech students. Still many students have to stay outside campus. Hostels for category students gets hostel. And most of the 4th years also will get hostels. Hostel rent is about 500 per month and mess fee comes around 2000-2500 per month. Hostels are always clean and tidy.

Since this college is formed years ago. There are lot of alumni students. Some of them are in our college who took PhDs and teaches us. Senior students are helpful for our projects and for our campus placements and all.

Now the admission is based on the cusat cat entrance test.you should get good rank in the test.then you should select the branches in which u are interested. Most interested branch should be placed first. And least interested at last. Then allotment will take place. They will select you accordingly.

Every faculties are qualified teachers. Most of them took PhDs. This is the situation in every branches. Every one are well qualified faculties. But in the first year there are some contract faculties. But they are also very good.
