Remarks
The college is a great atmosphere. While it may be strict, it creates a sense of discipline and rigour in the student. The campus is a beautiful place to walk around and is a blessing for the student. The students are great assets where many friends and connections can be made. Faculty are kind and approachable and the overall 3 year college experience will be a good one for the student.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is a mix of things that have been taught previously and those that haven’t. All the things taught previously(that have been taught in class 11 and 12) are taught in more detail. Thus detail is required for such commerce subjects before we enter the corporate world and is very useful. The exam structure is a combination of assignments and exams - 10 marks for CIA 1 (Continuous Internal Assignment) 25 marks for Mid Semester Examination 10 Marks for CIA 3 5 Marks for Attendance 50 Marks for End Semester Examination
Placement Experience
The placements are great. Many top companies approach Christ University for placements and it is a great opportunity for students to enter the corporate world. The companies have a good selection process ensuring that the students are well prepared to join them as well
College Events
There are many cultural and Business/Commerce related fests that happen on a constant basis across the campus conducted by various departments. There are events for Mock Trial as well Debate and various interesting theatre productions as well
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee Structure is feasible for students that live within India with many courses having fee of within ?50,000 per year and the facilities provided are worth the money paid. The students are given great value for money with the campus and various facilities on campus
Fees and Financial Aid
The college does offer scholarships for those families that require it based on the income the family earns. If it is such that the family requires financial assistance, the college may provide it to them in the form of financial assistance or fee concession.
Campus Life
There are excellent facilities with a very good sports department with access to a variety of sports for the students and two good ground for sports. Labs are available are maintained well for the pure sciences programs. The facilities provided are excellent on university campus and allow for holistic development of the student.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni network is well connected and are very attached to the college. They often help out the college with funding for necessary events and are always open to give talks about necessary subjects as per the students requirements. They are an extremely useful association for any student to be a part of.
Admission
There is an entrance test for the course based on your 12th Standard Portions. Once you finish the test, you will have an interview in the coming week again relating to your 11th and 12th standard portions and current affairs. You do need to keep up to date and answer all questions confidently to endure admission into the course
Faculty
The faculty are dedicated in their teaching and are also student friendly at the same time. This gives a good balance for the student to freely approach teachers and learn well in the classroom atmosphere
