The Great Aryabhatta Chronicle.

Being a fairly young college, we don't have a big brand. However the administration is trying its best to create a name for the college. The societies have won various competitions in the DU circuit and is known for its societies.

The course curriculum in all the DU colleges is same. In Commerce Major you get to learn everhthing from Commerce, Accountancy, Economics to Maths,English and Stock Markets. We have a semester exam system where we are examined twice a year.

The Placement & Internship Cell is very active. However the college being a fairly new one it is tough to get companies here apying you well. Last year, the Cell was successful in bringing 25+ companies for the Internship Fair. I got an out of college internship and I was paid Rs.6000 as stipend.

We have several societies namely, Finance and Investment Cell, Marketing Society, Enactus, Commerce Society, etc. who organise their events throughout the year. We have a Diwali Mela, Fresher's Party, Farewell, various conferences and Talk Shows in our college.

The fees for Bcom Hons. is Rs.12000 which is fairly expensive in respect to other DU colleges. However the college does provide scholarship on Need basis. Since students from all background study here, it can be said to be expensive for some.

Every year college provides scholarships to students falling below a specific income brackets. Also, the fee is reduced for the students of backward classes. There is no facility provided. The MHRD provides scholarships to various students.

We have cultural societies in our college, namely - Nibs and Brushes(the creative society), Wavetrix(the dance society), Rang Manch (the dramatics society), etc which make our college life complete. We have Psychology and computer lab in our college and a big ground for football, cricket and volleyball.

The college does not provide Hostel facility yet. My college comes in the South Campus region so the outstation people willing to stay near the college mostly live in the Satya Niketan area full of PG's.

Our seniors have always been helpful and have guided us throughout. The college being a very young one, we don't have such a strong network yet. Our seniors often go out for masters in business administration after graduation.

I cleared the DU cutoff list. The next step was to choose the course and the college I wish to pursue the course from. I chose to pursue Bcom Hons. from Aryabhatta College. After registering on the website, I had to go to the college. Here all my documents were verified and I was granted the admission henceforth.

The faculty in the college is very supportive. They are always on their toe to solve all your queries regarding the subject. Faculty of Economics, Psychology, English and Maths is also good with teachers who are famous across the DU circuit.
