Remarks

A great college but only for those who are diligent , puntual and trying to train themselves for job pressure. Focuses not only on Academics but also convinces to take part in extracurricular activities and fests

Course Curriculum Overview

5

In a semester there are 4 CIAs ( continuous internal assessment) Cia 1 is for 10 marks, Cia 2 is also known as Mid Semester for 25 marks, cia3 for 10 marks, cia 4 for 50 marks and the rest 5 marks are for attendance.

Placement Experience

3.5

Placements are quite good in Christ, and is ranked best for a private college. Lot of job opportunities snd many big and small companies come here for recruitment. UG courses the average salary for a year is 6 lacs. There are no internships provided by the college.

College Events

4.5

Usually events and fests are happening in Christ. Christ is known for its fests. There are different fests for different departments. Also there are intra department fests. Commerce fests like Prarambh ,Mitige are there Non commerce fests like blossoms, darpan are there.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is more expensive as compared to any government college but it is still affordable. Also fee structure varies from course to course. As humanity department fee structure for a year is just 25 k to 55k. For commerce it is 1lac to 2 lacs. And for professional and management department it is even more

Fees and Financial Aid

Loan facility is easily available by south Indian bank which is linked with christ also at an affordable rate of interest. Though i didnt avail one, but i know that yes it is available easily through the college

Campus Life

5

Football ground, basketball court , table tennis courts are there. All kind of extra curricular activities such as dance , music, theatre, street plays ,mimes, and sports like football ,cricket etc are played in campus

Alumni/Alumna

It's a ragging free campus and seniors are really very friendly and non dominanting. Regularly give seminars to how to deal with problems inside or outside campus. Helping juniors to adapt in college environment.

Admission

It's a long process and you need to clear entrance test and then if you are short listed then they call you for a skill assessment, personal interview and Micro presentation. In skill assessment you need to write about 2 topics given to you, personal interview they just ask some genral or academic level questions and then they give a topic on which you need to speak for like 2 minutes.

Faculty

3.5

All the professors are either PHD or doing it. Nice faculty. Intelligent and sort of strict because of strict rules of our college. Usually students are under pressure in our college because of different assignments assigned to students by faculty

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 5th semester. Our college has a dedicated placement department that really guides and supports us through the whole process. Big companies like Deloitte and KPMG visit the campus every year, and since I’m doing B.Com + ACCA, there are plenty of great opportunities in finance and accounting. Last year, around 8 students from the B.Com batch got placed in finance roles. The average package was about ?6 LPA. The best part is that placements keep getting better every year, and the college has maintained a 100% placement record. They’ve even tied up with foreign companies, which opens up more global opportunities for us. After completing my degree, I plan to build a strong career in finance—hopefully starting with a reputed company like Deloitte or KPMG—and later explore opportunities abroad.

Placement Experience:

The college offers placement through the COC (Career Opportunities) cell. Students become eligible for placements by the 5th Semester. The companies which come to hire include the Big 4s, (KPMG, Delloite, EY and BCG), Fedral Bank,TCS, etc. Almost 70% of students opt for higher eduaction so the less number of students get placed at the UG level at least. I am personally figuring out which path to choose but I have placement in mind at the end of the degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My specific aspect of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose the course is the ACCA along with Bcom. Most importantly the 9 paper exemptions provided that gives flexibility in the context of studying. The curriculum is well corporate and real world oriented. They prepare us on how to face the real corporate world through their curriculum by conducting different seminars and workshops.
