Remarks

Every college have its own specialities and flaws but in my view point overall my college is good enough. Principal of our college is hard working man and it's only because of his maintained discipline that I can say, our college is the best.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Course curriculum of my college is in line with the guidelines of the UGC so it's very balanced and wholesome. There's always issues raised by some or other student groups regarding biasness of the course but its good according to me. There's semester system of exams in my college.

Placement Experience

3.5

Our college got one of the most active and excellent placement cell. The placement cell keeps organising placement and recruitment drives in coordination with many companies of good market value round the year. As such internships are not provided by the college, but our University have a central placement cell which is again very active.

College Events

5

There are variety of events celebrated round the year starting from fresher's party to college fest and many more in between. Independence day, Founder's day, Teacher's day, NSS week, Gandhi Jayanti and many more. Many events are celebrated as seminars.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is quite feasible according to me keeping in view the quality and number of activities done in college. Fee need to be submitted on yearly basis. Fee varies according to courses like fee of BSc. Courses are more than BA Courses.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are many scholarship provided by the college and also by University. There are scholarships provided on the basis of merit, social and Economic backwardness. There is a scholarship named Taneja Foundation scholarship which aims to provide scholarship to top 10 students from each course.

Campus Life

4

Our college is also good in extra curricular activities, infact many students of our college have represented our college in national and international events be it sports or cultural. We have a open gym, Basketball court, cricket nets, Football ground, Volleyball court, TT and many more.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, there is a association named alumni association with our alumnis as member of it. They keep encouraging us by their words in almost every big events of college. A alumni meet is also organised by the college.

Admission

My college is a part of Delhi University and DU releases several cutoffs every year (5-10). My marks in 12th were fair enough so I got admission in first cutoff. There is a criteria of calculating best four subjects and best three subjects in science courses. I had science in 12th class and wanted Arts in college so there was also a deduction of 3% marks. Deduction varies from 0-5% in various colleges of DU.

Faculty

4.5

Faculty of my college is well experienced and well versed with their respective subjects. Particularly of my course, faculty, I must say is excellent. Be the best college or University of the country there is always atleast one teacher which students denies to be good enough and my college is no exception to this.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the curriculum is decided by delhi university, economics wing and is followed by all the colleges of du, although few topic are often irrevelent which teachers tend to skip. i do feel that curriculum is pretty old and they should introduce new topic which are more related to reak=l world and give us real life experience not just bookish knowledge which is irelevent. they should also ask for students input related to their curriculum, teachers sometimes tedn to just do book reading. internal exmas are taken frequently and difficulty is 3 out of 5

Course Curriculum Overview:

It is a good course. I went for it mainly because I am preparing for UPSC CSE (pretty common around here). In that context the course is helpful, and also for those aiming to enter research, academia, museology, archaeology etc. However there are not many placement opportunities and for most it would be better to pursue masters later on. Teaching methods are inclusive, both english and hindi medium students can comfortably study. However both students and faculties have some complaints regarding the curriculum changes under NEP such as the sequence of courses in each sem.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course is rightly designed. Plus the teachers often suggest books that can be read from library regarding course topics. The library is very nice here. I used to study in the library for long hours. The exam notes and everything is available at the photocopy shop that's inside the college. Writing this review really made me miss the college more

Placements definitely stands out as passive placement cell of the college is too good. They are quite aggressive and keep attacking us with getting ready for placements. As top corporate house like Big 4 and top Indian conglomerate also comes to our college for placements.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Initially i took this course beacuse i filled it as a backup for coming into delhi university but now i can say that the course is very interesting and it is practically applicable in daily life. Tho the theory exams are quite difficult and subjects like advance mme where max students fail exist but then also it is doable and has market value

Placement Experience:

The college has a placement cell which comes up with lots and lots of internship and job offers throughout the year, you get multiple new job opportunities every week but the campus placement is not all that great, B Com courses have somewhat decent placements. the college doesn't push very much or try much to get students placed, you're on your own.

Placement Experience:

Generally, after BA no one is placed and even if we apply for a job we don't get a good package. So, students generally go for masters or some other courses through which they can get placements. Talking of college placement and internship cell we don't have very good facilities as very limited companies are there for recruiting students. Many students don't even get the internship. This is a major negative point of college.
