Remarks

All are positive. I must say i still miss those days. Every breath we took in the collge were still keeps us moving and i dont really know how to express the joy we got on those days. We learned how to be a good human being from our college

Course Curriculum Overview

5

Very Good. College follows curriculum prescribed by M G university. And eventhough some of the topics/ sessions were of not that much useful rest of the contents were apt when considering the application of science.

Placement Experience

2

No. There were no internship programms. But our placement cell were really helpful in finding new job opportunities. And even we got chance to attend few job fairs. Thanks to the placement cell team.

College Events

5

There were many events celebrated in our college. The main were annual day celebrations and department day. There were many activities in relation with these events which gives students chance to showcase their artistic skills. In total those days were most memorable

Fee Structure And Facilities

It was totally feasible. There were so many scholarships for financially weak but academically brilliant students. It was not a burden for any of the students to pay the college fees. And even the management were offering some helps to selected students

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes. As i have mentioned before the college was giving scholarships for academically brilliant students and also for financially weak studnts. It was helpful for many to enjoy union christian college eventhough not capable at that time to meet the financial requirements

Campus Life

4.5

Labs were well equiped with all required accesories and lab assistants were there to support studnets. And college organizes many sports and cultural events and we had team in most of the sports items to compete with other colleges.

Hostel Facilities

4

I was not part of hostel provided by hostel. But many of my friends were in hostel. And all were enjoying those hostel days as per their stories. The atmosphere and infrastructure were very good and even they have strict procedures and process for day to day routines.

Alumni/Alumna

It is actively good. We have alumni meet on every November second saturday of the year. The alumni association is capable of organizing such events and very well organized. Thanks to the team of organizers.

Admission

Normal application submitted and got selected on the basis of merit. I was having 88% marks in 12th and hence it was easy to get admission. Eventhough i was just curious to get into this college. I was lucky though.

Faculty

4.5

Superb. Thats what i must say. Because they were not just faculties, but real mentors. We learn so many lessons of our life from collge. And in that view our teachers were just outstanding. From the bottom of the heart I just want to than them in this occation.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is almost best. Curriculum doesn't influenced me in deciding this course. Curriculum should add internships. Currently there is no mandatory internship, if students are interested they can do internship during vacations. As we are learning psychology which need to be practiced in real world settings, curriculum must include real world training to help students understand things more effectively. Currently intervel between exams are non existent. Internal exams, then semester exams, you blink once, next internal exams, followed by semester exams. Syllabus is understandable, can learn if you try. Exams are also manageable. Real world examples and stories can be included in teaching methods, as psychology is related to humans and human interaction, to get better grasp of concepts. Rather than focusing on passing exam, should focus on the concepts and understand them in-depth. There are a lot of theories to study by heart. And there are many repetitive topics that overlap, but in different semesters.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course is Bsc Biotechnology. It is a research associated course. Its main scope is in research. But in every industry let it be medical or industrial a biotechnologist is required. I would like more practical knowledge than theory knowledge in this course as it is needed to be implemented in labs hands on experience is essential. Exams are conducted every 6 months as semester. Class tests and model exams are conducted frequently. Assignments, projects, seminar ,etc.. are given every month.
