Remarks

In some points college is good but in some cases, it's not ok. Like college authority close girl hostel in summer 7:00 pm and winter 6:00 pm. College authorities are not as modern as nowadays students want like college don't allow couple dances in cultural events and more many things like they don't allow hang-up girls and boys if they are gf/bf. Like they have a low mentality.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Here are different courses like Diploma courses for engineering And engineering also (B.E). Here are also P.C.M (PHYSICS CHEMISTRY MATHS) for masters and Ph.D. And management courses. As I mentioned above its have its own entrance exams and based on that students get admission and also it takes admission on basis of JEE MAINS, CAT, and ETC

Placement Experience

2.5

Here's placement is not too good. Its rate is below average. College is in the village and no more companies take interest. But some local companies come here every year and recruit students on average salary.

College Events

3.5

Some events happen in college some are conducted by a thein college committee. And some are on the college basis 1) college fest ( Techfest) only for technical 2) Madhuram ( cultural events) 3) social fest ( in this fest we conduct some camp for a social person like blood donation, some education camp for poor children, etc)

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is feasible not too much. If we talk about diploma course then fees for the diploma is only 9500 per semester (academic + hostel) and for engineering (B.E) approx 31000 per semester ( academic + hostel )

Fees and Financial Aid

Students can take scholarship if it's provided by their state government or central government. And there is also another scholarship that provides college for students and that's on the basis if gotten rank in the entrance exam and that would be getting the 5% of class strength.

Campus Life

4

Yeah, are many more extra activities. But college performance is not good on the level of another college because college doesn't provide coaches for them and also doesn't provide extra time for the sportsman that's the reason sports activities are low.

Hostel Facilities

3

Yeah, I live in a hostel. Yeah, infrastructure is good as they provide us hostel facility it's too good on basis of they take fess from us. They allow us 3 students in a room. There are 24/7 hours electricity and water without any additional charges. Only we have to pay mess charges 2500 per month.

Alumni/Alumna

Yeah sometimes there happen alumni meetings and they encourage us how to survive here and how to prepare for the future. Also, seniors help us as a guide. There is a ragging-free campus. Every senior are cooperative here. Any time they are ready for help us

Admission

Yeah, this conducts its self-exams name as SET(Sliet entrance test), and here are many courses and different courses that have their owl exam pattern. I appear here and got some rank and after counseling I got admission

Faculty

3.5

Faculties of college are good there degrees are in Ph.D. they are known for their field courses. They are co-operative for students they help us. College provides them for living here flats and they live. They were punctual of their duty

NITJ has a placement cell, also known as the Centre of Training and Placements(TPO office of NITJ). The placement scenes differ depending on the courses offered. The average placements are 12-14LPA in the Computer Science branch. Every year, hundreds of companies, including Pvt and govt both. PSUs like HPCL and BPCL recruit students based on merit and academic excellence.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I’d rate the curriculum like 7/10 in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness — it covers all the major CSE subjects like DSA, OS, DBMS, CN, AI, ML, Cloud, Cybersecurity basics, etc., and honestly that was one of the reasons I chose this course because at least the core subjects are solid even if PTU keeps some old-school stuff in the syllabus. The curriculum does prepare you for real-world stuff, but only to a point — like, if you focus on coding labs and projects you’ll be fine for internships, but if you depend only on classroom theory then it won’t help much because industry wants hands-on skills. For higher studies also it’s okay because theory depth in subjects like OS and DBMS is decent enough. But yeah, improvements are definitely needed — some subjects feel outdated, teachers should use more practical examples, and we need more real projects instead of copy-paste lab manuals; also some faculty teach directly from slides which gets boring fast. Exams come twice per semester (sessionals) plus the final end-sem around December/May; they’re mostly easy if you write long answers, but tricky if you rely only on understanding because PTU likes theory-heavy questions. Overall, the system works, but it could be way more practical and industry-focused.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum
