Remarks

I think it is a good college for those who want to learn. The buildings,campus area,teachers are much more is very top class. Student must admission here for their studies and placements. I like the college most.

WBJEE. I really want to do b.tech course. For higher techinical education. Kalyani is most popular engineering college in our local.

I want b.tech degree hardly. So i sat on WBJEE & AIEEE. And got a good rank

Many good companies are come. All student got placement here in many companies.

Here many companies like Ashok Leyland, Samsung, Sony, Tata, Vodafone come on campusing time. Maximum students got their placements on campusing.

Our college holds a big fastival every year. Here many guests come in festival.

Fee Structure And Facilities

There are few rooms in hostel. We have to share room with another one Student every room. It is a government college so its fees it no so much. Foods quality is not very good.

Fees and Financial Aid

I got admission in this college though WBJEE. And got in govenrment course. So my fees not so much high and i never availed any loan.

Campus Life

Our college campus is so good. Bit of politics in union students. senior students attend regular parties. Workplace is nice. All the students are eco-friendly with each.

Placement Experience:

Well as far as mh knowledge students get to placements from 6th semester itself . Well there are placement classes from 3rd semester itself . The placement track record of the college is quite good with most year about 90% gets placed with good companies comming like Deloitte, EY GDS , JP MORGAN, Oracle , offering high amount of placement offers like around 20+ lpa . Well I am not sure about my plans maybe if the palacement is good I'll take it or will be preparing for GATE (Whose courses are also provided from college .)

Since I'm in first year so I don't got into my specialization that much , but from my knowledge we are getting knowledge about all domain in a portion which will help us in our future . This also helps us to decide that specifically which domain is best for us . Since I'm in first year so I didn't have my exams yet because of the late admission in college the reason for late admission was stay in admission by the Calcutta Highcourt due to some issues on reservation.

Course Curriculum Overview:

-> CSE is the main stream because under this, other courses like Cybersecurity can be learned as extra courses, while still learning things that are very important like DSA and DAA. -> Everything is taught slightly fast and students have to keep up everyday. Even one class missed will be heavy on studying. -> The mic quality in some classes are bad and should be improved. It's impossible to understand what the teachers says when using them. -> Usually term exams start one month after the start of a semester, with the Semester exam being held 3 months later.

I have not yet reached the placement time because i am a fresher. But more than 1000 offers are made to students and placements are pretty good as i got to know from my seniors. The highest package from chemical branch was 75 lacs last year.

KGEC REVIEW

I gave West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination in 2024. I scored a decent rank but due to high cut off of this year I didn't get good branch in Jadavpur University.
