Remarks
I just have positive remarks as I know the college has very negatoves and that too are prevailing in each and every college out there. The staff and students are trying theur best to change the negatives and make a name for ourselves like that of Hindu, Hansraj, etc, because we know DDUC has equally if not more talented students. Positives- * World class Infrastructre * Very affordable fees * Amiable teachers and support staff * The college is in Dwarka, which is a low income area and hence the students have to spend very less in rent as compared to other parts of Delhi.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course of Bachelor of management studies is and extension of BBA and it is better known for being a more practical and work related course compared to other graduation courses. I highly recommend this course for people who are eyeing for Masters in field of Management. The exam structure is quite common. We have assignments and internal exams which account for 25 marks out of 100 for each subject and then we have external exams which are of 75 marks. The result is a compiled one of internal as well external exams.
Placement Experience
Yes, we have a seperate and highly active Placement cell which looks after Internship opportunities and Job vacancies throughout the three year course. We have many companies like- KPMG, Tresvistta, OYO, etc. Come for on campus recruitment rounds and the average package for my course has been a little over 5 lacs p.a. with 12 lacs being the highest.
College Events
The college has more than 10 active societies like- Debsoc( Debating society), EDC (Entrepreneurship development cell), Yavnika (Theater society), Fin-s (Finance society) and many more. The college is proud to have EDC as one of the best E cells of the DU circuit. Almost all the societies have something or the other coming up in every two months with heavy footfall in each event.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It is very feasible. It is just 20000 for one year. Being a centrally sponsored University, DU students have the priviledge of very minimal fees which are affordable by all class of people and hence, it has people coming from all parts of India and abroad.
Fees and Financial Aid
I haven't availed one but the college as a part of The DU provides for a scholarship program for Economically backward people and the students can avail the scholarship very easily once they provide for the proof of the required income of the family.
Campus Life
The college was shifted to a new campus three years back and the bew cmapus has it all. Literally everything one can think of. We have good sports area, computer labs, Labs for all subjects, and the college takes out the students for regualr field visits as well as recreational activity days, where the students go out as a batch to nearby camls and spend the whole day which helps in team building.
Alumni/Alumna
The Alumni network was not quite strong few years back. However, the students of BMS has made it a point to keep a register of Alumni of each and every course, specially BMS, so that the college can connect to pass pout students and network through them so that it will be helpful for the students still in college. Seniord were the most amazing one can ever ask for. I miss them even now. They all were so helpful and amiable and so suppoetive. They guided us when needed and were always to do fun together.
Admission
I applied for DU Jat exam in early April of 2017, gave the exam in June and the resukts were out by July end. I got admitted in the month of August and the classes began after finishing few formalities. The process was easy and not time taking.
Faculty
Our college provides one of the best facilities among the top DU colleges be it Infrastructure, Faculty members, ease of doing student activities, as well as support in placements and counselling. I am highly satisfied with what the college provides.
