Moreover, IIT Delhi is located in the heart of Delhi (South Delhi, to be precise) and is not far from the Delhi airport. There are plenty of restaurants, malls, theaters, and bars to enjoy on weekends.

In contrast, the nearest city to IIT Kharagpur is Kolkata, which is about 140 km away. The closest decent restaurant to IIT Kharagpur is a Domino’s outlet, and it doesn’t even deliver pizzas on campus.

I usually don’t put much stock in QS Rankings, but you can trust them when they rank IIT Delhi higher than IIT Kharagpur.
