Which one should I opt for NIT Trichy B.Tech Computer Science Engineering or Jadavpur University BE Electrical Engineering

They often think they are superior to all NITs/BITS, etc. If IIT KGP weren't in Bengal, they would probably claim JU is better than IIT B.

Listen, if you’re getting CSE at NIT Trichy, choose it without hesitation! JU is a state college, and it will always be viewed that way. Don’t pay attention to NIRF rankings; it’s absurd that VIT is ranked above NIT Suratkal. The same goes for JU being ranked over NIT Trichy.

NIT Trichy for B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering offers a solid ROI with a median package of 14 LPA and a highest package of 60 LPA, alongside affordable fees of around 65,000 INR per year, making it a financially smart choice. Jadavpur University for BE in Electrical Engineering has a good reputation but lacks specific placement data, which makes it hard to compare directly. While Jadavpur may have a rich cultural experience and strong alumni network, NIT Trichy's structured internship program and high placement rates provide more tangible financial benefits. I'd recommend NIT Trichy for those looking for a strong return on investment in tech fields.

JU is a fantastic choice. While I'm not a JU student, I can confidently say that JU CSE is an excellent option. You won't regret it, trust me!

That said, if you have the chance to get into NIT Trichy for CSE, which is the best NIT in the country, don't pass it up! If fees aren't a concern, definitely go for NIT Trichy CSE. It's on par with the top 5 IITs for CSE and IIIT Hyderabad. JU is just a step below NIT Trichy. So, choose what feels right for you, but in my opinion, NIT Trichy is the way to go!
