Is doing B.Tech Automobile Engineering from LPU any good?

I’m currently in my second year of B.Tech Automobile Engineering at LPU, and I can say it has its pros and cons. The first year is heavy on basic subjects like physics and chemistry, which can seem irrelevant, but they really help later on when you study more complex concepts. The placement department is quite active, and I’ve heard from seniors that while the placements aren't huge, they’re decent. I’m planning to go for the placement pathway to get some extra training. Also, the campus is super lively with lots of clubs and events. I think it’s a good choice if you’re passionate about automobiles and want to have fun while studying!

I chose to pursue B.Tech in Automobile Engineering at LPU, and so far, it’s been a decent journey. The curriculum is well-structured, starting with the basics and gradually moving to specialized subjects like chassis and suspension systems by the second year. I appreciate that there are internship opportunities from the third year, but it’s a bit frustrating that we can’t take up internships before that without losing attendance. The fees are quite manageable, and many of us receive scholarships based on our entrance exam scores.
