How is B.Tech Automobile Engineering branch at LPU? What about its placement in 2025/26??

I’m currently in the B.Tech Automobile Engineering program at LPU, and I’d say it’s a pretty solid choice. The first year is all about building a strong foundation with physics, chemistry, and mathematics. It might feel a bit irrelevant at first, but trust me, it’s crucial for understanding the more complex stuff later on. By the second year, we dive into subjects like IC engines and suspension systems, which are fascinating.

As for placements in 2025/26, the college has a decent placement record. While the numbers aren't huge, they are respectable, and the placement department is quite active. I’m planning to take advantage of the placement training they offer starting in semester 3.

Studying B.Tech in Automobile Engineering at LPU has its perks! The curriculum is structured in a way that you start with the basics, but as you progress, you get into the nitty-gritty of automobile mechanics. It really gets interesting in the second year, trust me! The internship opportunities from year 3 onwards are great too, especially if you’re looking to work with automobile companies.
