I’m enjoying my time in the B.Des course at DTU! The college offers a good mix of theoretical and practical learning, though I think some practical aspects could be emphasized more. As for placements in 2025/26, many students have secured great jobs, with some landing roles at companies like Microsoft and Google. While the highest package was 1.8 crores, the average package is around 10-12 lakhs, which is decent for a design program. The campus life is also vibrant, with plenty of clubs and activities, making it a well-rounded experience!

Being in the B.Des branch at DTU has been a great experience so far. The curriculum is relevant, and I appreciate that it's been updated recently. The first year focuses on core subjects, and I’m looking forward to choosing my specialization later on. For placements in 2025/26, the design department has decent opportunities, especially for those in interaction design. I’ve heard of students getting placed in top companies with packages around 10-12 lakhs, which is encouraging. Plus, the internship opportunities provided by the college are a big plus!

I’m currently in the B.Des program at DTU, and I’d say it’s going pretty well! The first year is all about building a strong foundation, covering everything from product design to industrial design. In terms of placements for 2025/26, I’ve heard that interaction design students tend to get the best offers. The highest package for a design student reached 1.8 crores, but realistically, most students land around 10-12 lakhs, which isn’t bad at all! Overall, I think the curriculum is solid, but I hope they update it soon to keep up with the fast-changing industry.
