JEE Advanced Passing Marks 2025 are prescribed by IIT Kanpur. Students must score equal to or more than the aggregate passing marks and subject-wise passing marks to clear the JEE Advanced Examination 2025. According to the passing marks prescribed for JEE Advanced, general category candidates must score a minimum of 35% marks in aggregate to clear the examination. However, the passing marks for each subject is 10%. Students belonging to Gen-EWS and OBC-NCL must score at least 31.5% marks in aggregate to pass the JEE Advanced exam 2025. SC, ST, Gen-PWD, Gen-EWS-PWD, OBC-NCL-PWD, SC-PWD, and ST-PWD must score a minimum of 17.5% marks in aggregate and 5% in each subject to pass the examination.

As per the JEE Advanced exam pattern 2025, the examination will be conducted in online CBT mode for 6 hours. The examination will be conducted for 2 papers i.e., Paper 1 and Paper 2. Each paper of the JEE Advanced Exam 2025 will be conducted for 3 hours. The types of questions that will be asked in JEE Advanced include MCQs, NAT questions, and Matching Types Questions and the syllabus will be based on subjects including Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Students will be required to solve a total of 102 questions with 51 questions from each section in JEE Advanced 2025 examination.

As per the passing marks for JEE Advanced, general category candidates must score a minimum of 35% marks to qualify for the JEE Advanced examination 2025.

  • General category students must score a minimum of 10% marks in each subject.
  • Gen-EWS and OBC-NCL candidates must score a minimum of 9% marks to clear the examination.

The Conducting IITs prescribe the JEE Advanced exam pattern 2025. According to the exam pattern for JEE Advanced 2025, students will be required to solve 2 papers including Paper 1 and Paper 2.
