Students who have appeared from the JEE Mains must score a minimum mark to qualify for the JEE Advanced. In this regard, it is important to note that along with qualifying for the JEE Advanced, they also need to score the minimum JEE Advanced passing marks of 75% in their 10+2. JEE Advanced Eligibility Criteria

The JEE Advanced criteria for eligibility are -

  • Students should be among the top 2,50,000 successful candidates in JEE Mains 2024.
  • As the the age limit for JEE Advanced, students must born on or after October 1, 1999.
  • Students are only eligible to appear 2 times in the consecutive 2 years.
  • Aspirants must have appeared for the Class XII (or equivalent) examination for the first time in either 2023 or 2024 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
  • According to the JEE advanced 12th percentage criteria, students must secure the JEE Advanced passing marks of 75% in aggregate for General candidates.
  • For reserved category students the JEE Advanced passing marks is 65% in 10+2.
