Tanushka Sikaria: “General (No reservation).”

Describe the general setting of WAT / GD (if any)?

Tanushka Sikaria: “The WAT and GD for XIMB took place offline for me at 09:00 AM. My GD group had around 10 members seated in a semi-circle form. The process had 3 moderators, all professors of the college. We were given 2 minutes to think and 10 minutes to speak on the topic "Should reservation be allowed". Everybody contributed equally to the discussion. After the discussion ended, we were given 8 minutes to pen down our thoughts on a piece of paper as a part of WAT.”

What was the WAT / GD Topic?

Tanushka Sikaria: “The WAT/GD Topic which was given to me was " Should Reservation be allowed", which I recall, was very much in news around that time due to a bill in the Lok Sabha regarding the same.”

What were your answer/points put forward for the WAT or GD respectively?

Tanushka Sikaria: “I can't recall the answers that I gave, but I do remember, starting out by stating the benefits of the bill, the cons of the same, and how it can be misused and coming to a conclusion for myself.”

Describe the general setting of your personal Interview.

Tanushka Sikaria: “In my personal interview, the panel consisted of three members, all senior faculties of the college from different areas. My interview started with some finance-based questions and quickly turned into a stress interview where they tested my general knowledge. My tip for the aspirants will be to prepare well in advance about the institute they are applying to and try to remain as calm as possible.”
