Fees and Financial Aid

Year wise I have paid aroung 55,00. It is divided into 6 semesters so each semester is like 30,000 then 25,000. The registration costed me around 800 which they refund after graduation and the eligibility is to pass 12th with minimum 60% cutoff. There are different courses like Bsc Btmc, btgc etc. The course I opted was bsc. bindc - biochemistry, nutrition and dietitics and chemistry. Chemistry is the common subject for all life sciences students and there is no quota or caste based selections. They are fair in selections and it is just based on merit. The fees for all the groups is also same, around 60, 000 per year for life sciences. There are opportunities for scholariships and etc that you can opt in for if you have financial issues. Scholarships are also based on merit cum basis and interview basis, which happens in the college it self. You just have to provide your household income through income certificate and documents from inter till degree (in case you have finished your 1st or 2nd semester they might ask for memo).

Faculty

The faculty student ratio is ofcourse less but is enough to manage the students, around 4000 students. Most of the teachers are approchable and helpful in terms of education as well as personal issues. The language department most of all is loved in the college for their great teaching methods and nuturing nature towards their students. There are faculties which are not that open minded, but in terms of teaching their faculty is really good and well experienced. The exams are moderately difficult but the syllabus covers it all, so there is not much extra effort that you need to score really well.

Fees and Financial Aid

Total 3 years degree total fees is 174800 and here in this college we gave fees semester wise like every semester is 28000.In this college infrastructure can be improved much more and for practical examination equipment and resources should also be provided by college not by students. And faculty are like school teacher they should be behave like it is college not a school otherwise everything is good.

Faculty

The student faculty ratio is quiet enough to manage. Here the student faculty relationship mostly be friendly and helpful and enjoyable, not boring etc.. But sometimes it will be rude and strict because of the student behavior towards teacher and also due to the teacher's behavior towards students!! The faculties i liked there was Dr. Avanti prabhakar mam she was my undergraduate class teacher , according to me she is such a gem of a teacher that i love her most, she helps most of the students in all possible way she could, she's so friendly and wise person among all in my point of view, she looks pretty too with her short hair and personality was quiet remarkable which i admire the most!! There are 3 to 4 types of exams or test conducted in my college which is cia 1,cia 2,model exam and semester, i don't like model exams here because the preparation time for studying for that exam is much less in which they give the full portions, which is quiet difficult to attend.

Fees and Financial Aid

Here in my college they got about 24,000 rs per year for my course which I have studied during my under graduate at the year 2021 to 2024 . The fees structure for the 2024-2025 academic year at Justice basheer ahamed sayeed college for women JBAS Is as follows : B. Com General ? 26,000 B.com honours ? 27,000 B.com corporate secretaryship ?23, 000 B. Com accounting and finance ?28, 000 B.BA ? 23,000 B.CA ?33, 000 B. Com ISM ?14, 000 B. Sc Mathematics ?11, 000 B. Sc Clinical Nutrition and dietetics ?24, 000 B. Sc Interior designing and decor ? 16,000 B. Sc computer science ?30, 000 And also there are 2 shifts like Forenoon shift and afternoon shift in which the fees structure slightly varies for both shifts

Internships Opportunities

At LPU, several internship opportunities are available for B.Sc. Nutrition and Dietetics students. While I haven't applied for any internships yet, the college has tie-ups with companies like VLCC, Nestlé, and Fortis Healthcare. These internships typically offer roles such as nutrition intern, diet counseling assistant, and research assistant. The stipends vary depending on the company, with some offering around ?5,000 to ?10,000 per month. Interns often work on projects like creating meal plans, assisting in dietary assessments, or conducting research on nutrition-related topics. The outcomes usually include practical exposure to clinical settings, working with patients, or contributing to food and nutrition studies. These internships give hands-on experience and are a great way to apply classroom knowledge to real-world tasks, enhancing skills before graduation. LPU supports students by guiding them to the right opportunities based on their interests and academic strengths.

Course Curriculum Overview

It is pretty good and covers a lot of important topics. I chose this course because it includes things like clinical nutrition, diet therapy, and food service management, which are key if you want to work in nutrition. The practicals and workshops help us understand how things work in real life, like how to give diet advice or manage food services. One thing that could be better is the teaching style. It would be nice if we had more interactive classes and case studies to make tough topics easier to understand. Also, having more internships or industry visits would give us better real-world experience. Adding more about new areas like sports nutrition would make the course even better. The exams happen quite often and are manageable, though sometimes they feel a bit close together. It would be helpful to have a little more time between exams to prepare well. Overall, the curriculum is good, but adding more recent research and practical cas

Campus Life

Campus life is not that great. There are small basic events and functions like every college. Ethnic day, foundation day etc are celebrated and all the public festivals are also celebrated. A small wide range of books and journals are available. Students can get many reference materials also. Classrooms are normal classrooms with no much advancements, projectors are there. No other facilities such as wifi smart board, classrooms with AC. Sports and extracurricular activities are there including dance, songs, games, football, volleyball, swimming and many such activities.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course as it is related to medical field and biology is the main base. Everyone who loves biology will find it interesting. The syllabus is not that tough. After completing graduation we can join any multispeciality hospital as a dietitian, as a fitness trainer in a gym or as a personal celebrity dietitian. Post graduation and phd will be cherry on cake. This profession is futuristic as it is developing and there is a high demand abroad. I think virtual learning will be the best for this kind of course and college should provide it.

Internships Opportunities

When coming to internship it is not well acquainted, maybe because we belonged to the Corona batch. We ourselves searched for internships and went. It would have been good if the teachers have some collaboration with some internship centres such that it would have been easy. Everyone must do some internship we did not find anything at last we tried and went to some unani clinic and got the certificate

Campus Life

They will conduct many cultural programs, flashmobs. Many celebrities will be invited. Not only programs we also have extra curricular activities. They will focus in many extra curricular activities including sports. And one speciality that no other colleges have is that they provide free swimming training They also have gym facilities for which we have to pay around 700 to use the props.

Faculty

The is 1 faculty for 15 students. Every department has at least 6-7 faculty it's totally up to the department and no students are in the department. Faculties are divided into two categories, some of them are very well experienced with teaching for over a decade with an enormous amount of knowledge on their cards. The other kind of faculties are just a beginner in their careers with a new set of teaching skills and a friendly kind of approach towards students to lead them into success, they just make us learn things in an orderly and simple way. The faculties are very very jovial to interact , I often interact with my hod. She is just a savior to me, her knowledge helps me a lot to understand the subject and she also guides us towards the other opportunities after college and the internship process. The younger faculties are easy to approach and they are willing to explain what we are asking at any time. They just keep improving themselves to lead us on thright path.

Course Curriculum Overview

Honestly, i choosed this course for my own sake . Ineed to take care of my own life in a healthy state along with my family members. The subjects are guide us to implement things in our daily life , so we are easily immersed things into the real life. I need to develop the curriculum more into the practical ways to operate the things is easy to understand for every students. Timing for examination is enough but difficulty is not really coz if yorcesnt something, you need to go for it badly .
