Andaman and Nicobar MBBS Admissions 2025: Eligibility Criteria
The candidates who fulfil the following criteria will be considered for Andaman and Nicobar MBBS Admissions 2025.
- Candidates must have passed their 10+2 from the Science stream, with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English as compulsory subjects.
- They must have scored a minimum of 50% marks in 10+2. Reserved category and PwD category candidates must have scored 40% marks.
- The candidates must have passed NEET UG-2025.
- The lower age limit shall be under the following for all categories – Born on or before December 31, 2007.
- Andaman and Nicobar Islands domicile are also eligible. They can claim UT quota for the following categories –
- Category-I: Tribals of Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
- Category-II: Deputationists and Central Government employees with transfer liability to serve outside the UT. Candidate should have studied for the last 2 years in the islands and pass the qualifying exam from a school in the islands.
- Category-III: Settlers prior the 1942 and those who were settled under various rehabilitation schemes.
- Category-IV: Other locals who do not fall under the above category and such Central Government employees with no transfer liability to serve outside the UT. They should have 10 years of education in the islands.
- Category-V: General merit quota open to all students. Candidates should have studies the last 2 years in the islands and passed the qualifying exam from a school in the islands.
Andaman and Nicobar MBBS Admissions Process 2025
The step-by-step procedure for application is as follows:
- Candidates have to apply online through the common college admission portal.
- They should fill in the educational qualifications and other details as asked.
- They should upload the necessary documents in the prescribed format.
- Candidates should submit the application form and pay the application and counselling fee.
- The application and counselling fee for OC/BC candidates is INR 3,540 including GST and bank charges. For SC/ST candidates, the fee is INR 2,950 including GST and bank charges.
