MBBS 3rd Year Syllabus

MBBS 3rd year syllabus comprises three core subjects Community Medicine, ENT and ophthalmology. Community medicine is a subject that deals with general medicine for physicians, measures of health, and methods of treating diseases while ENT deals with the anatomy of ears, nose and throat and their anatomy and physiology whereas Ophthalmology deals with eyes and related diseases. 

MBBS 3rd Year Subjects: Community Medicine

The main purpose of teaching Community Medicine is to prepare candidates to work effectively as community Physicians. This subject describes the concepts of community health and measures of health, epidemiological methods, applying epidemiological methods to treat communicable and non-communicable diseases, use of basic bio-statistical methods, the demographic pattern of the country and health, analyzing the importance of water and sanitation in human health and many more topics.
